Lol I created a thread saying I haven't been PMing anyone asking mods not to remove my PMing ability. I changed it to some lame thing about discussing fruits to hide my embarrassment.

I was supposed to go in for an apprenticeship program for an electrician this morning. Turns out it got cancelled with no word on a possible reschedule (yet). I was really looking forward to this, as it could've helped me get a job that made some real money too. T-T

@
Luigitoilet: Glad to hear how well the bar job has worked out for you with increasing your confidence, especially with really pretty girls. If it means anything, I hope it also helps you up the confidence to date (pretty) girls without any doubts as well.

Trouble at work

We have an important deadline on the project I am leading coming up, and not only are we far behind, we are going to have back and correct a lot of the mistakes we made. My supervisor was stressed about it, frustrated with the team and even though he didn't mention it, in particular me.

It's not all my fault, but I do have to take a lot lot of blame here. I thought I didn't need to brief them under the project, since not only do my teammates have seniority over me, but they came on to the project by QAing my work. Still should have consulted with them or at least ask my supervisor if I should brief them on the project. I did raise it to my supervisor's attention as I went along, as well as briefed them on things as I went along, but in hindsight I definitely wasn't thorough enough. Now I am tasked with filling out a methodology spreadsheet and it's a bit unsettling. Just wanted to vent about all this.

And I may as well kiss that raise I wanted goodbye, which tbh I hardly care about anymore. I've been spending my money on such stupidity lately, and now I just really want to start saving again.

Why am I eternally pranked? I can't remember a time where I wasn't. Not that it bothers me, in fact it makes my name more interesting, but aren't these periods of prankedness timed? That means I'm perpetually being singled out by someone? Not sure who is doing it or why they chose me. o-o

I believe you can change this in your User CP under "Group Memberships".

Oh, I have no intention of changing it, I'm just confused as to whether it was a permanent thing or something that keeps happening to me every so often.

Yeah, looked it up, and as I thought they aren't permanent, and White Mage is right in that it is 1 month. Premium members also get their prank-ability every month. Is someone picking on me every time? XD

XD I don't even get it, I've been here for quite some time but I've never really gotten close to anyone. This place is just a means for expressing my thoughts on things and listening to the thought's of others.

I have some sort of mental block when it comes to figuring out how to work the muscles required to speak in a female voice. Every time I get to seriously training, I'm usually in tears by nights end.

Honestly i miss being busy all the time. I end up with huge times where i zone out or sleep all day, and i feel dirty whenever I waste my days away.

If I had my own place, i would probably be practicing voice/makeup/mannerisms/trying clothes on alllllllll day, but i'm stuck with judgmental christian republicans.

What's stopping you from moving out? You can always move in with a roommate whom you know you can trust, couldn't you? D:

Don't feel bad on the days you waste away, work harder the next time you can to make up for it. Hanging on to it, only slows us down.

I don't follow my own advice, but I recently learned that this was true in itself. The worst depression is the hypocritical kind, imo. Still not applying it as often as I'd like, though. :\

*SIGH*. So it looks like I really dropped the ball with this project. Firstly it looks like my supervisor doesn't trust me anymore. I'm the project lead and I have been told that whenever my co-workers ask me a question, I should e-mail the question to him along with my response. Apparently I had told my co-workers to use an incorrect methodologies for the project, in addition we're also very behind on the project. In my defense it was also my supervisor who approved the methodology I am using, so it's not fair that it really isn't fair that I am being blamed for this, but none of that matters since the bottom line is that we're behind and the project needs to get done.

I have to take blame for us being behind on the project, because even though I haven't been slacking off, I haven't been working as hard as I could have either. It's funny we're behind on the project, because I had previously asked my boss if it would be ok for me to work overtime, and he declined it. But now he has put more people on the project and it's mandatory for us all to work overtime now. Had he just gave me overtime to begin with, we may not have been in this situation.

Lastly, what's very strange for me is that I have an eerie calm about all this. It's a big deal, and if we fail to accomplish it then my job may be in danger. And yet I'm not freaking out about it like I normally would. I am annoyed by the whole thing, but I don't feel overwhelmed by anxiety. I'm more concerned with just getting the project done that I am with the negative consequences and in a strange way that's comforting.

It's rough on minimal hours. Do you have any opportunities to split rooming with someone?
$600/mo really isn't enough to work with even with splitting housing costs.

On top of the avg. house costing $300-$400 when split 4 ways, I have to spend:

$12 transportation fee
$38 Phone
$42 Hormones
$100-$200 on food.

I'm trying to save up for a car, and I'm already in the negatives if I were to move out.

I said I was going to full sail in november (december start date) and I would start doing all the scholarships by then, but Mom's just keeps talking **** and question me, "do you really want to study?" and "this is why you'll never achieve by slacking off", which not what I'm wanting to hear at this PRIOR month called OCTOBER. She keeps going on and on and I can't make her stop, because that'll just make things worse. Literally, her stubborness keeps making me worry about myself.

Game art is fun. I'm at a school where we do both...but my focus is 2D stuff and hi poly sculpting

If you ever need help with stuff, just let the Art Emporium people know. We have a skype chat and often trade secrets and tips and critiques.

Yeah, Full Sail is PRICY. But, it's a good education with professional facilities. Thats what I think about when I look at the tuition for GAD stuff xP

We can also help with scholarship stuff. When I was working on scholarships for AiP, I just sent em to AE people and got amazing feedback

I'm upset that I've been banned again from this new forum that I really enjoy posting on. One of the moderators seem to have a hard on for me, and seems to be judging me more harshly than everyone else. When my ban is lifted I'll make the case that I am being treated unfairly, but moderators and admins tend to be douchey and never admit to any faults.

That's ridiculous Froggy D:

I suck at math. I practically failed my Algebra 2 test today. Why can't I just get it like everyone else in my class? I was supposed to take the course last year, but had to repeat Algebra 1. I feel so dumb. =/

Don't feel stupid for not getting math. Some people don't think like that. And also, some people just don't have the focus for things that they find pointless, which can be a strength. Like Sherlock Holmes has said, the mind is like an attic, it won't do any good to fill it up with nonsense. Besides, you'll be learning all of this math to what, forget it all over summer break which statistically speaking happens to pretty much everyone?

There really isn't any way I can help you outside of consoling you. My teachers took pity on me and let me get out of school even though by performance standards I should have been forced to stay. It helped that the school I graduated from was really poor and lazy in general.

I think it's true, but it's not like I can prove it. Hopefully bringing it to their attention will make them less trigger happy to ban me next time.

I graduated from college and I still can't do Algebra well. I'd probably fail math 100(again) if I retook it now. Algebra is dumb, but it's learnable. I'm not sure what advice I can give, but with math it always helped me when I truely learned the process instead of memorizing the steps. That is understand why this method leads to that result instead of thinking, "after this step comes that step"

Sorry if that's not very helpful, it makes perfect sense in my head but I'm not sure if I'm articulating it well. Also I sucked at math my whole life, but I did manage to ace a 300 level math course in college. It just takes a lot of patience and focus. Don't be discouraged.

I like algebra. Sort of.

The second you put a grid with the problem I get confused. Even if the problem is easy and I could solve it otherwise

Edit: I have a problem

I am writing an English paper and the teacher doesn't want us to use "Big words" and try and speak in it like we do in real life

The problem is, I do use a lot of these so called "Big words" in real life and they are naturally flowing while I am writing.

It's not MY fault most of the class doesn't know what they mean. It's not like I'm going through a Thesaurus looking up complicated words

I think "Stifled" and "Prevalent" would be "Big Words" in their definition

Edit Edit: I think I use semicolons too much. Correctly, mind you

I dunno, I think a person really has an affinity to either Geometry or Algebra. Most people I ask tend to pick Algebra, yet I know Geom is for me.

And no worries, ^, I often overuse my commas. Unintended.
