And gameplay got a little generic.

.....and it wasn't as awesome as before.

CoD4 was fun. That was the last one I remember actually playing. Only played Zombies in Blops

I actually liked the multiplayer in Black Ops. But MW3 was pretty much the worst CoD game ever made.

Idk, but I hear they are trying to add 4v4 (humans vs zombies). Basically with people actually playing as zombies rather than just bots. It sounds weird and I think it could potentially ruin zombies mode. So I don't have much faith in Blops 2 but I guess we'll see.

I like Gen V, and I've never legitimately played a gen I or II game.

I like Pokemon, a lot. Gen V seemed to grab me more than IV or III because of all the "shiny new features" and uh... slightly... altered... storyline.

It's been a while since I've ready anything that has resonated with me this much. I've been very unhappy at times lately, and it stems from my powerlessness and not having what I want. It never really occurred to me that I'm wasting my time trying to find new hobbies and befriend people. I'm too poor for all the bills I will have and that sucks. When I first got this job my handler told me that if I did well there was a potential for a raise here. What's more is that from what I can tell when I'm performing my best(almost never) I'm the fastest worker here. Up till now I've been too lazy and unmotivated to try and go after this raise, but I'm not happy and this raise is a way for me to fix that. Even better is that they are starting me and only me on a new project next week. All I have to do is **** it ****ing hard, and I can show this company my worth. It's the perfect opportunity. Instead of sitting around upset and hoping I win the lottery, I realize now that I actually have some control over how good my life is.

And I'm finding that you sir post some of the best things in this thread.

I'm glad. I'm making an effort to be more positive and sincere on these boards and not hiding so much behind cynicism and spite and irony. and I'm happy that you got something from that post. As much as I've teased you and your troubles in the past, I feel hopeful for you. The mind is a very powerful thing if you let it be. If everyone understood what their minds could do they would be uncomfortable. Approaching your life from a certain mindset makes all the difference in the world. No matter what obstacles are put before you, you can find solace and power within.

I don't mean to be a jerk face about it, but men are physically strong and more emotionally stable than women. It's kinda hard to not make the argument that we're superior. Then again women do give birth to children. I suppose that's pretty incredible.

edit: I suppose you cannot make the argument that men are superior to women when you consider what testosterone does to us. Yeah, it makes us stronger but we're too prone to aggression and too deserious for sex. When you think of how desperate men can be for sex it's really pathetic.

Heyyyyy this is the same dude who called bull**** on me when I said in any situation you can choose happiness over sadness because the former was superior. But good stuff my man, good stuff. Think like that, and nothing can reach you.

There was a war on women in that thread? D: The only thing I can remember that was like that was briefly in this thread a little bit ago. And I don't think we meant it in the man > woman sense, we were just discussing the common problems with the latter. We could as easily turn around and discuss problems with our own sex too. Biologically, we're all screwed in our own ways. ^_^ Yaaaaay for the incompatibility of hormones and rationalityyyy~ Really I see no reason to get offended, everything we say is true, and we're all in the same boat anyways.

There was only one legitimate concern I have on the topic. I was thinking recently of some gender problems, namely how when I look at just about any hobby, profession, or sport, there is almost always a higher amount of males in each unless they are directly related to females or things associated with cosmetics. This I do not blame on any inferiority of the female gender, but from our narrow minded society enforcing these views on them. They may be biologically "fitting" in that they enjoy attracting the best males (I remember watching a documentary on attraction, with how females look for how masculine and adept at taking care of themselves, others, and a child, and males just look for the sexiest and feminine thing around typically). But they shouldn't be defined by that, after all, they are humans equally capable of the same things males are. It isn't "aping" the male gender, it is about becoming a full-fledged human, the people who say it involves women trying to be like men are confusing themselves from the fact that men aren't so limited and that women want that same consideration to their own pursuits. (The only thing I want for men is a little more freedom in what we can wear, men's clothes are very boring and lacking in options )

I can only hope we raise the following generations without being so narrow-minded. The U.S. has more females than males, so I'd like for things to reflect that a bit more in the future.

I'm one I about 4-7 (not sure) left in my grade level for my major (100+ guys)
I wish there were more girls
I don't talk to the girls in my major for various reasons (I don't see them, we don't talk much, one girl is a total ***** and made fun of my friends in front of me), etc. and the one girl who is my friend is leaving and my guy friends.....yeah less than mature >___>

Women's clothes are interesting
I like a lot of stuff I wear (Forever 21 can have all the monies), but yeah, it can be inconvenient.

Hey, I'm not saying we start wearing dresses and really really short shorts. Because as Teran says here:

I'm not even gay, but I have a more liberal taste in my clothing and prefer something interesting. It only aids in people thinking I am gay. Nothing wrong with being gay, but even if they don't give me crap for it, I'd rather have people not assume that I am, especially for such a terrible reason.

Here in Alabama, guys are pretty much all like this, so in High School, I won most unique senior because I stuck out like a sore thumb (granted, personality wise I couldn't connect with anyone to save my life, but I didn't talk to many people, which means most people had to of been voting for me because of my appearance, not for who I was).

I am pissed off. I was playing a video game and people started harassing a person because of their age. Not because the person was being obnoxious, but just because he sounds like a kid. He told them to just mute him and they would continue to harass him and he eventually left the game.

Ugh, this just aggravates me so much. I tried to intervene but it was too late; he had left the server and one of the people said to me "**** you i will harass the **** out of him"

I can relate to that. I wear jackets a lot in addition, or at least two layers, even though I live in the south. It looks nicer and I just feel more comfortable covered up and with some layers.

Though I tend to get pretty hot, but in ways it can help when the sun's rays are pretty brutal, I end up not in pain because of it, so technically, I can be cooler from wearing more.

Not that my clothing choices are even gay, moreso just... they always project this grandiose self image I have I dunno whatever. Like in summer people will go out in stupid t shirts and stuff or vests, I wear a white suit with ****in aviators. Stuff like that.

I just think it's a shame that a lot of guys will buckle (and quite frankly I don't blame them) to the absurd social pressures that exist in society.

I mean I have NEVER heard a logical explanation for why people shouldn't wear piercings in environments that aren't industrial/mechanical/scientific etc.

Also funny thing about my navel piercing, it seems to attract a huge amount of female attention. Did not expect that when I got it.
