The air is getting heavier, and there is a stench coming from the western cabinets, in front of the electrical outlets.

Dmitri, the closest to the west cabinet, starts to walk close to check it out. But then black smoke comes up, and the cabinets burst into flames, the combustibles inside warming up and exploding. The fire immediately catches onto a nearby Gurney

I rip off Garry's shirt and put out the fire (unless it was not his gurney)

I hustle everyone into formation by (friendly) force

Ok, Im awake now, which conviniently coincides with my return from vacation, so...
I move as fast as possible while being cautious out of the room into the hallway and wait for the others
Oh, and frozen, FU man, FU.

Well whatever, anyways I trust everyone now that we have seen what the test will do on Things. As for the formation, well its not reall needed anymore in such detail, perhaps just half the people walk foward and half backward to keep an eye on things?

Oh, and screw trying to put the room out, its fueled by electricity and chemicals, it'd be nigh impossible to put out with what we have.

Eorlingas, does it look like the fire will spread throughout the base? Or does it look like it will stay contained in this room?

Anyhow, I'd like to move to the door, so that I can make a quick exit from the room if necessary.



Also, this fire is a great way to actually get people off their *****. Thanks, Eor.

Clint and I move out of the room, taking Windows as well.

I quickly search the room for a fire extinguisher.

This is the med room and while the fire presents a dnager I would at least like to try to put it out. If things like they are getting to dangerous (Fire expanding at a quick rate) I will leave the room.

Dmitri, Clint, and Windows run out into the hallway

Gary moves as well, but as tries to get out of the gurney he stumbles and falls on his elbows. He crawls towards the door, where Nauls is standing and assessing the scene

MacReady scans the room for a fire extinguisher, but doesn't see one. More cabinets catch on fire, very close to the door to the pharmacy.

I run back in, close the doors to the pharmacy (pharmacy and hospital doors are always fireproof), then grab Garry and take him with me back outside.

Geez, I just cant get a break eh? Oh well, thanks man.

Are there any gurneys left unburnt? And in a place where I'm not likely to get burnt by going to get one?

If so, I run to grab a gurney, because Ronike is obviously not up par yet, so we might wind up needing it.

I immediately leave the room.

I forgot to say that if the gurneys are too dangerous for me to try to get, I leave the room.

Hahaha, you guys give us much too little credit. While you guys were asleep We were thinking... thinking of a way to enlighten you all to this amazing world We've become a part of. Do you think these events are merely coincidence? If so you are terribly wrong. This, is a friendly warning, and permanent reminder, that we are still here. We chose the medical rooms as our target to make the choices I give you now a little easier to pick.
You can do one of two things; submit, come down to the basement and join us, or leave this base now with all the supplies you can carry, because what We'll do if you don't submit will be far worse than that. I assure you it won't be death that awaits those who decide to transcend, but instead a higher sense of being. The knowledge your minds have always sought. I will give you until tomorrow morning to come up with a choice, the day after that you all will have frozen to death anyway.

MacReady and Copper both run out of the room into the hallway

Dmitri runs back in, grabbing Gary and lifting him up. Nauls runs and grabs a Gurney, pulling it away from the flames. The fire has spread completely around the room, taking cabinets and gurneys with them, feeding on the wood and chemicals now being burned.

The floor itself is catching on fire, the wood underneath the tile lighting up from spilled liquids. Black smoke clouds overhead, making everyone still in the room cough and gasp for oxygen

I pull out some fabric from inside my bag. I quickly fold it and wrap it around my mouth and nose.

I then help Dimtri to move Gary

I'm going on vacation from the 17th of this month to the 1st of September.

I might be able to post a bit during vacation, but it's pretty unlikely.

I pull my shirt in front of my face and duck as low as I can, still pulling the gurney behind me with my free hand.

Im waiting for Eor to tell me whether or not I got out of the room. Then I have stuff to say, but its not realistic that I would be in room on fire, being dragged out by a fellow teamate, when I suddenly break out and say, "So, what should we do to stop the Things?" Im gonna wait til im safe!

Blame crab people

Nauls pulls his shirt in front of his face, trying to block the worst of the smoke. He runs out, dragging the Gurney behind him, Blair following close behind

Dmitri runs out with Gary, but the smoke is heavy, and he stumbles. Gary spills from his arms and the Russian lands on the ground, his elbow banging against the tile. Gary rolls a foot, flames marching towards him

*Thinks to self* Why does God (Eor) hate me right now?
I crawl towards the door out using my non-injured foot and hands.

Run in and assist whoever seems to need help more urgently.

I assume that EE is still okay and able to move on his own, despite having banged his elbow, so I'll probably be helping Ronike.

By the way, I'd like to keep my shirt in front of my face as I do this, and stay as low to the ground as I can without compromising the speed at which I can move.

Grab ronike by the jacket and muscle him out if I can.

Dmitri scrambles back up, grabs Gary by the collar, and drags him out. Nauls runs up and grabs Gary's arms, helping him up as they all exit the inferno of the Medical Room.
