Hey, I'm trying to collect data on the performance of low/bottom-of-mid tier characters. Please let me know if I missed one of your results:

Some things to note:
- "Placed in Top" means that if you tied for 5th the value will be 6 (unless there was a tiebreaker like at MLG)
- I don't take MK banned tournaments
- I only take results from August 1st 2010 onwards

Which of these had MK banned? What was the entry fee for the first tournament? Was the price changed for the third tournament?

The fact that they have his group of 20ish people vote on it is enough for me.
I wouldn't expect him to admit if MK was b& at those tournies anyways.
You'd have to take his word for it too, not like you'd find anyone else that went to them on smashboards, albeit like 2 other players.
I also don't see why I got infracted for that post, I genuinely thought that was hilarious.

I'm still laughing at the whole thing (not just his tournaments, just the whole combination of things)

Welp, I live in Florida. Tampa to be exact, and I get RedHalberd, Trump and Mampam among many others as training partners.

Ven lives somewhere in Nevada, I think. I could be wrong. He's got Cali near him and they have many good players.

As far as scrubs, I mean, there are people that are average but not really any scrubs around me lol.

how bad was the lag/latency? im asking cause sometimes i saw some motions that don't really seem like errors and may have just been some latency interference. if lag/latency was no problem then you can ignore this question.

Zelda's grab is normally to slow to use on anything OoS except really laggy stuff so i would suggest not relying on standing and shield grab at all and work on baiting your opponents into dash and pivot grabs. Zelda's dash grab has just about as much range as DDD's grab so for people who shield alot when you charge at them it can catch them by surprise. grabing in general as Zelda is matchup and player dependant. some Zeldas don't use alot of grabs and then you have me who is always tossing in a dash grab every couple of minutes.

as for the vid im no expert on Mario but if your not really good at aiming LKs at smaller targets you shouldn't use them as much on them (alot of the kicks were clear over marios head.) also never approach w/ Fair thats a really bad idea.

your spacing in general was off so i suggest working on that. alot of times your were just outside of hitting range or too close and got punished.

there was a bit too much RoBing(spot dodge>Dsmash) sometimes spotdodging at nothing because mario was close. on recovery you didnt go to the ledge enough. i like getting back into the action too, especially if im behind, but if the ledge is clear theres nothing wrong with giving it a hug lol. also you need to focus on getting to the ground if you've been knocked into the air because Zeldas not good fighting up there especially if your opponents below you.

you did get a nice revenge LK on your 2nd stock. it didnt kill, but that made me smile :bee:

I like that you tried to use Dins, but i dont think jumping and shooting it is a good idead unless your wavebouncing it. maybe you did that to avoid being fludded off? but for future reference jumping and shooting Dins is even more situational than standing and shooting.

Just watched your vids

I loved the part when on DDD's last stock in BF (first match I think) you made him fall from the platform and LKed him, it was just brilliant. ou just missed some Dtilt > Bair but that just happens.

For diddy I think it would've been a better idea to throw the banana far from him instead of throwing it to him everytime, but still I think you've got your reasons for doing that, I mean you're better than me lol

Thanks for the feedback man! I'll try the throwing it away as a mixup. Sometimes I try to out-Diddy Diddy but I get myself hurt too much lol.

i hate lucario too. stupid thing is so annoying to fight. but i fought a good one that lessened my hate for him due to the many rollycario's
