Yeah, she was the main antagonist of the story and at the time of voting she had no character (she still doesn't have much character afterwards either)
Meanwhile the Gooner Snake Lady that actually has a character didn't get many votes

The saddest thing is that with Tsubasa fans rallying her to the top 5, TMS has a very real shot of winning a CYL before Engage does next year because you know people are gonna try and meme in another OC whilst Engage fans still can't agree on one of Ivy, Yunaka or Alear.

I think Engage's best shot is if they make Sommie eligible and becomes the winner via Gatekeeper level rallying.

It also seems like Engage fans at large aren't really interested in rallying, they just want to support their favorite character. They like Ivy, they vote her. They like Timerra, they vote Timerra. There may be some overlap, but it doesn't seem like they want to break away from their preferred character and that leaves them all vulnerable to other characters slipping past them.
Personally, I'm starting to worry. It'd be one thing if Ivy was third just behind Baldr who we know got support, but she also fell behind Azura who to my knowledge had much less vocal support by comparison. It's not like Bernadetta who got kicked out due to circumstances and thus could make it up the following year, even if Baldr didn't exist she would've fell short of the Top two and that's worrying when Azura beat her, Tsubasa can rally ahead of her, and a new game could add new candidates that speed past her.

Haven't played Heroes, so I can say if the winners or good/bad/interesting/boring. I am really surprised that Engage somehow did worse than last year; I was really expecting an Ivy/Yunaka sweep. At least my girl Mia continues to remain consistent in terms of her placing.
I'm also surprised that the Male Cast got so many more votes. Like there is about a ~4000 vote difference between the 1st/2nd Place Male Winners and the 1st/2nd Place Female Winners.

I think it's probably the worst first entry of the notable mascot platformers. 2 is a massive improvement.

I saw this movie with two friends when I was in high school, and I think I blacked out because I too can barely remember anything about it.

Mega Gardevoir always reminds me of Diantha, and how much I wish they treated her better in the story. (And didn't put a damn Aurorus on her champion team.) But Gardevoir does fit her vibe well, and the typing is great. If you're not packing a Ghost or Steel type (or better yet an Aegislash) you're hosed.Day 25: Mega Gardevoir

Ok so you know that platform that goes down at the start after you hit the button? Of you run off of it you can beat the stage in like 40 seconds cause you skip a massive chunk. There's also a glitch that lets you beat the stage in 20 seconds at most but idk how to do that
So i suffered through that act for nothing

I'm not a Mario fan but I have the strong suspicion that the Switch 2 3D Mario game is gonna be like. Mario Frontiers, something like Bowser's Fury but y'know, less asset flippy. I wonder what the Mario fans here have to say about that idea

Not outta the realm of possibility. They used Bowser's Fury as a test run of that kind of game. Though each 3D Mario usually had some time of mechanic that Mario himself had that stood out in most of them. So I'm more interested in that part of it I guess. But I'm also not exactly fiending for a new Mario game right away either.
I'd like a remake of Sunshine personally cause I think that game could use some polishing up, and needed the extra levels more than 64 did.

That is good, except we don't get to see what Mario's **** looks like.
Speaking of Mario, the next phase of my plan to summon the next 3D Mario is complete. Mario Galaxy is finished! It was shorter than I expected, but then again I usually go for 100%.
I mean, what can I really say? You already know it’s one of the best Mario games, and perhaps one of the best games of all time. One thing I noticed was how much of Sunshine you can see in this game, those platforming levels where they remove FLUDD really were the building blocks for Galaxy.

My big concern with my tweaked type chart is that I made the Dark type underpowered.
Love is immune to Dark not just because of love triumphing over evil, but also to create a type triangle with Psychic. However this leaves Dark with only winning matchups against Psychic and Ghost - and leaves it kind of outclassed by Ghost in general. It has a niche sure, with its Prankster immunity and great set-up moves, but it does get left kind of screwed.

That idea is kind of redundant when Dark's weakness to Fighting is supposed to be "good triumphing over evil" already. The dark typing is supposed to be reminiscent of heels in wrestling, while fighting represents faces.
