100%. Just kind of sneaking the dex cut in during the middle of what’s supposed to be the game’s hype season was a bad move. They should’ve announced it before the game was even officially revealed.

What kills me is that they didn't even say that during a presentation or anything, they snuck it in a random Nintendo Treehouse interview after the E3 event was over.

So either they really didn't want people finding out, or they are really awful at PR.

Iirc there was no mention of this anywhere else so I imagine that Japanese fans would either needed to know about a statement made at a foreign event or would not have known until they realized it

I'm playing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow through the Advance Collection.

It's super fun as expected and a major step up from Harmony of Dissonance.

Wolfenstein: The New Order. I'm about halfway through the game, going by the chapter list, so I feel like I'm getting through it at a good pace.

I'm planning to pick Super Mario 64 back up (I've never beaten it before; I still need about 20 stars to get to Bowser) and maybe play Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (I want to play through the older Kingdom Hearts games before playing KH3, though for 358/2 Days and Re:Coded, I'll have to stick with the cutscene compilations that are in the collections).

If it wasn't obvious from how I've been talking today, I've been playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX again.

My main team consists of and because Blizzard and Rollout are busted, but this time I'm also breaking away from just using the auto recruit Magnemite again and using as my third team member because of just how good its moves are in PMD.

I know I’ve said this before but I think I want a new Punch Time Explosion instead of another “all of WB” platform fighter. It feels like that’s a more solid (and more limited) base to draw from that will create a better experience. Especially since so many of the big requests were CN characters anyway.

All of WB is a cool idea and I’d love to see them try it again in the future. But definitely not right now. Gotta let the idea sit a bit.
