Everything should get a sequel. Multiple sequels. Nothing will ever end!
Agree with Noi on this one.
Conker was novel at the time because it was a cutesy platformer mascot in a world ripped out of Banjo Kazooie but LACED with profanity, blood, gore, sex and drinking. Coupled with all the very in the moment relevant movie and pop culture references, it was great.
But nowadays, trying to launch a game like that would just blend into the crowd. There's nothing unique about that concept anymore, and if you tried to recapture what made Bad Fur Day special, you'd just come off as edgy and try hard. You'd basically need to completely overhaul the franchise, and at that point, why even make it a sequel and not its own, stand alone series.
Lightning doesn't strike twice when your game hinges on its identity and not a whole lot else.
