Let's see. We've had:
Red/Blue
Gold/Silver
Ruby/Sapphire
Diamond/Pearl
Black/White
X/Y
Sun/Moon
Sword/Shield
Scarlet/Violet

What are some ideal names you can see for future Pokemon games?

For my own Purore region, I thought of Star and Shine, but that just sounded lame and kind of unfitting for the region - one game features the source of all magic elements/types (Fire, Ice, Water, Electric...) while the other features the source of all physical and/or entity elements/types (Rock, Grass, Bug, Dragon...). So the stellar theming doesn't really work for game names. I need better names.

What evidence do you have of this assertion?
I don't have proof but Star Fox 2 came out back in 2017 and I say that's a long enough wait. Plus I think Nintendo got some ideas from their collaboration with Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
Let’s hope it’s not Zero 2. Or open world.
Starlink did a good job with an open world experience but yeah, I don't think Star Fox should copy it completely.

mans trying to give Star Fox fans more hope than the little crumbs of light the Kid Icarus fanbase has…respect

Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

A VeggieTales video game where you can only move by jumping. Like, just tilting the analogue stick doesn’t do anything, you have to hit jump to hop forward.
I feel like playing it would be tedious unless you can build momentum or there's some rhythmic aspect to movement. I've played plenty of things that basically have grid movement disguised as a sidescroller. The way you time movement can be satisfying but I can't think of any where you pick a direction and then press a separate button to actually move. Just pressing a directional button works fine enough.

Have you played Ikachan? It's all underwater and you don't move until you press a button. It works because you can build up speed and end up needing to press the button less. Also it takes like 30 minutes to beat the entire game so you don't get tired of pressing to propel forward.

Wow you just unlocked an ancient memory of mine. I haven't heard that name in forever.

Idk. I haven’t thought that much about how it would work, it’s literally just something that popped into my head while I was brushing my teeth. But I imagine you would have to like… hold to charge up for long jumps and stuff.

Idk, the idea came to me because I was thinking about how there was a VeggieTales 3D platformer on PS2 and it’s a little weird to have a character be constantly hopping around as a basic means of locomotion and then have them “jump” to cross gaps and defeat enemies. But maybe I’m just putting too much thought into it.
