I'm gonna be real I hate how SMRPG looks, the chibi look feels so wrong with the modern looks. Wonder does it better but Peach still feels off in it. Over all kinda neat

Shame there was no Metroid Prime 4. I wonder if that game will ever be released?

It’s been pretty obvious they prime 4 is a launch title for a new system next year, but also gonna launch on the switch BOTW style. They are 100 percent saving our first look of the game until the system is announced.

So, the Direct.

There was cool stuff, I liked the Mario RPG Remake, the new WarioWare looked cool, definitely playing Mario Wonder, Dragon Quest Monsters looks awesome and Pikmin 4 did surprise me.

Spoiler: With all that said (warning:rant incoming)....

what the ****ing hell Nintendo. You got Pauline, one of your biggest legacy characters, Who has been appearing in spin-offs from left to right recently and totally deserves her time in the spotlight through Mario Kart 8 Deluxe... And you add the goddam Wiggler (the second worst Mario Kart character ever) over her!? Kamek and Petey are cool, but the fact they looked at the legacy characters and said "we are going to add the ****ing Caterpillar over Nintendo's first lady" bothers me to no end.

At this point I'll just wait and see, but I lost hope for Wave 6.

Huh, I do not like the look of that Zelda amiibo. It's the pose I think. Yeah I think I'll pass on these amiibo.

As much of a Pokemon fan as I am I'm not really excited about the DLC. I already have a living detch so the main draw being "catch returning pokemon" doesn't really appeal to me, there needs to be something more gameplay wise. Still gonna buy it though because I'm a mindless pokedrone I'll need the small handful of new mons.

Pikmin 4 is the huge highlight for me. I'm not sure how I feel about being able to "level up" your abilities in a game like Pikmin but it still looks really charming and the nightime expiditions could be a nice change of pace.


Mario Bros Wonder looks....odd. I guess that's what they're going for though.

Ok I rewatched the Sonic Superstars thing I now have faith in the music, thank you Jun Senoue and Tee Lopes. Peach game could be neat but I'm not a big Mario fan, same with Wonder despite really not liking Peach's look. Penny's Big Breakaway seems to be my personal highlight though, scrimblo **** focused on movement tends to be more fun than others
