The characters in the MK8 DLC were selected to appeal to me and me alone. I don't care about Petey all that much, but I always liked Wiggler's inclusion into 7 and I never even considered that he could come back, seeing as he isn't even in Tour. And Kamek... I'm a Kamek enjoyer through and through. And I thought he wouldn't be in the pass either, because he would have made more sense being added with Birdo. But here we are! My boys are back.

I wasn’t expecting Pikmin 1+2 ports (much less HD ports) so that’s pretty cool, the new stuff in Pikmin 4 is all awesome too.

Also, DID OLIMAR DIE AND GET PUT IN AN ONION? Or is the new character just a Pikmin-like doppelgänger? Or a disguise? Idk.

The new Mario looks awesome too, as does the Mario RPG remake! Geno and Mallow look very good, too!

Geno is definitely a lock for Smash 6.

In the new Mario, it also looked like we get to play as Yoshi on his own? At least, there was a scene with what seemed to be 4 Yoshi players.

I missed about half of the Direct (I had to stop watching after the Batman Arkham games were announced, since something came up for work), but I liked what I saw so far.

-Mario RPG is definitely the highlight for me from what I've seen - that was one of the first games that I got into, since I wasn't very good at platformers as a kid, so seeing it get the full remake treatment was unexpected. (apparently, some leakers were hinting it, but they were being deliberately vague so I figured it would be a SNES Online version at best)
-new Pokemon DLC looks worthwhile - I'm still several generations behind, but I loved what I played of Pokemon Violet, and seeing Pokemon in their natural habitats is always fun
-it's weird hearing Detective Pikachu talk with a voice that isn't Ryan Reynolds (also, seeing Slowpoke with a hat makes me laugh for some reason)
-I feel like the Switch is going to struggle a lot with Arkham Knight, but it's great to see those games on the Switch. (though it's a shame that Arkham Origins gets ignored)

Asking anyone who’s a fan of Demon Slayer. I’ve been reworking my DC Comics vs Shonen Jump fighting game and one of the areas I wanted to touch up was how I represented Demon Slayer. So which of these three options is more appealing to you.
