I'm mad at Gamefreak for how they handled the new hidden abilities for the Hisuian Starters.

• Hisuian Decidueye gets Scrappy, which lets ignore intimidate (good for a physical attacker) and hit ghost types with it's STAB (especially valuable when one of the strongest Pokemon in the game is a Ghost/Steel type).
• Hisuian Samurott gets Sharpness, which boosts it's moves to an insane power level (including it's signature move, which is already quite strong and has an additional affect most would kill for; setting spikes).
• Hisuian Typhlosion gets Frisk, which lets it know what it's opponent's item is before they kill it. It also lets me make Undertale jokes.

On one hand I agree. On the other hand most of the time when platinum gets ahold of an ip that’s not there’s (tmnt, legend of korra, etc) it’s… not good).

Porsite's actually my least favorite of the three as far as their final evolutions are concerned. It's really cute but it's final form doesn't do much for me.

The Grass and Fire starters both have really cool final evolutions but I knew from the beginning that I'm picking Mollucotta, cause that final evolution is so sick that it actually inspired my Fake water starter.

I didn’t look at any of the evolutions, but I didn’t accidentally see the fire and water ones when trying to look up something on the wiki. I still like the dolphins final form, but the fires final form looks pretty great to. The quaxolotl inspiration was a really solid idea for a fire starter.

Like primal dialga we get another new form of sorts that stays in this game.

paradox Eternatus. Instead of portals around the region, it creates ultra space portals. Plot of the game is the UBS are invading various lands making Pokémon extra hostile and the world in extra danger.

post game involves a story that leads to a showdown with the third scarlet and violet legendary.
