It evolves into a Grass/Dark Assassin Werewolf. Something of a counterpart to Meowscarada. I think I'm fairly happy with this concept but we'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Blossom from PPG defined my taste in characters to an extend that sometimes still surprises me.

Okay, I think I might finally have a starter trio I'm satisfied with.

Had an idea for a water starter that I'm really proud of

A timid water slug that evolves into an introverted teen snail that uses scavenged junk from underwater as a shell that evolves into a confident harpoon snail that found a full suit of armor underwater that's unfortunately imbued by the spirit of the original wearer, so the two have to work together. The spirit is mostly the one in control and it launches the slug out of its "harpoon". It's Water/Ghost type.

Yes I was inspired by Subjectively's Grass starter but in my defense, that design is sick

This one stays the same. Also the armor is basically a golem

I think I'm gonna scrap my starter trio concept

Well, not the motif since I still want them all to represent Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, but I think sticking to important animals to those religions kind of hindered my creativity

That being said the Christian Fire Lamb is probably staying, gonna make it a Fire/Steel Knight Templar with Steel Wool armor and a touch of Baphomet (as opposed to my original concept which was basically a Fire/Fairy Jesus Pokémon), and I'll probably have the Islam representative be a Dark type Hashashin, though the question of which type it will be remains.

Ironically enough I have no idea what to do with the Jewish starter, though in my defense I've never been a religious person

This one stays the same except for the typing. Instead of being the fire starter, the Lamb is the Grass starter, and retains Steel as the secondary typing.

This one is being scrapped (It was only really briefly considered tbh) for a Fire Snake, that evolves into a Fire/Fairy Djinn. I really wanted a Fairy-type starter this gen and I feel like there's no better fit.

So my theme is still the three Abrahamic religions:
Grass = Christianity
Fire = Islam
Water = Judaism

They also specifically represent something from their respective religions that can be considered mythological. The Knights Templar were real but there's a lot of myths surrounding them.

Maybe this will change but this is the happiest I've been with my starters so far.
