Which...is not necessarily true. I mean, more power to Peridot if they do not want to watch it for whatever reason, but old movies can be a part of our history, and can be good and even timeless. There is a reason why some of them are called classics.
I get that there are some bad old movies out there, but I would not say Shrek 2 is one of them, and people seem to dislike old things and maybe people for the wrong peoples, when in a number of, or even all or most cases, being old is not necessarily a bad thing.

I don't think it's that hard to explain. Things before August 4th 2004 are ancient and predate history, and should not be played. If Sam Raimi's Spider Man 2 released a week later it would be a masterpiece, but as it is it's strange and unknowable.
