Came up with a Gamera/Kid Icarus crossover. Think it kind of fits especially if we take the Heisei Trilogy's lore, mythos and setting into account.
Plot: Since Hades' defeat after the events of Kid Icarus: Uprising. Peace has been once again brought to the world which is soon short-lived when another ancient evil arises, one even older then anyone can remember and ancient for that matter too, that had since been long forgotten in written history. None other then Gyaos, the Shadow of Evil, malicious bat-like monsters who only exist to devour threatening all living life. To face this threat, Pit and Palutena must work together with Viridi, Phosphora and Dark Pit to face a common enemy once more along the appearance of a mysterious new ally in the process with ties to the Shadow of Evil, both having been created by a civilization that had since long past who were destroyed as a result of their former creations.
That being is known as Gamera, The Last Hope.
I can already see it. Viridi would find creatures (Gyaos) she'd hate even more and far worse than humans. More the reason for her teaming up with Pit and Palutena again. God lord who knows how many reset bombs Viridi would use in an attempt to eradicate the Gyaos' for good despite Pit and Palutena likely protesting against it telling her to only use them as a last resort.
