First Yakuza game is ideally 0, it's chronologically the first game in the Kiryu saga and was designed with newcomers in mind

The complete series of Star Trek: The Next Generation on DVD. Not sure what to expect (watching the Original Series for the first time, and I know even less about TNG - all I know is that it has Picard (Patrick Stewart's character), the Borg (cyborgs who try to turn other people into cyborgs), and maybe Worf (a Klingon on the main ship)), but I'm looking forward to it.

I didn't get one thing that I wanted for Christmas ("The Star Wars" graphic novel), likely because it's an out of print 2014 book.

Since I am a grown-ass man with a good flow of income, I went and ordered one myself.

Today for my Christmas Special viewings, I sae the Spongebob Christmas Specials. And by specials, I mean two; Christmas Who and It's a Spongebob Christmas. The latter may be one of the greatest TV holiday specials of all time. I haven't seen a full episode of the Sponge in a long time so it was rather fresh and funny.

Now for a little rant, I tried finding a Charlie Brown Christmas because I love Charlie Brown. Only to be reminded that Apple TV acquired all the rights to Peanuts specials and finding the special via the seven seas is now significantly harder than the other of Peanuts special. Now I can find some rips from like the original airing and while that's cool for archival purposes, for my viewing pleasure the quality is a noticible downgrade from TV airings where they cleaned it up. And the seven sea sites that do have them make charge you a premium and lol lmao.

The fact that an anti-commercial and anti-consumerism Christmas special (in a franchise that, as far as I'm aware, is heavily anti-commercial and consumerism in general) is heavily restricted to basically only being available to watch via one streaming service by a huge corporation has ticked me off since Apple first announced it and still does to this day.

I also watched "The Holdovers" with my parents to celebrate Christmas. They never held of the film but were pleasantly surprised by its quality. I think it might become a regular Christmas movie in my family alongside with The Muppet Christmas Carol, Ernest Saves Christmas, Jim Carrey's The Grinch, and Klaus.

Peanuts Movie watched. As someone who spent a good chunk of his childhood renting Peanuts shorts and specials from my library, yeah I loved it. Just love these goobers.

Also, crazy how Blue Sky was hitting its stride with this movie and several after, and then Disney bought it out and shut it down.
