Adam Wingard talks a bit about making this movie. He mentioned that directing a giant monster movie is such a specific set of skills that he only really felt like he fully got it at the very end of GvK, and he has been using what he learned for this one for how to follow up on the last film.
He talked about how there will be some sequences up to 8 minutes long of the monsters just doing their own thing to tell the story in a nonverbal way. He then brought up the new "devilish, Kong-type character", how it's difficult to come up with an antagonist that can match up to Godzilla and Kong, as well as how there's a lot more to his character and how he'll be a threat.
Adam Wingard then went on to talk about the film's title. The current title was always the top contender for him, and he talks about how the last movie focused on pitting Godzilla and Kong against each other for this film, he focused on their developing new relationship as allies. He said that, with Godzilla and Kong coming together during the last film, you can't just separate them again; having them both is way too exciting, and the film will focus on their team-up.

I wonder if there’s gonna be a drastically long gap between TOTK and wherever the next massive 3D Zelda game is (remakes excluded…although I really need Wind Waker HD on the Switch or Switch 2)

Back from Godzilla. I think it's safe to say it's one of the best Kaiju films ever made, and arguably the best Godzilla film since the original. The human element is truly engaging and well acted. I like the Monsterverse as junk food, but there is really no substitute for the main course. Japan continues to prove it does this film genre best. I think I liked it even more than Shin Godzilla (which I think I'll need to pull off the shelf for a re-watch this week).
