Thor 5 should bring the story back to its roots a bit.

Have Thor as a parent now reflect on his past adventures.
Where he realizes these other gods have always been assholes yet he never did anything about it.
Hercules shows up and attacks his house, prompting Thor to round up the gang and head off to stop the gods plans. Stopping any attempt they make to harm earth or any other planet.
Along the way you could throw in other character tied to the cosmos or different realms like Beta Ray Bill. Thor becomes a true leader again and helps everyone with whatever their problems are by the end of the movie.
Becoming an inspiration role model for his daughter, but also for people across the universe, earth included.
After stopping at least some of the gods( they Don’t all stay bad maybe?). Thor realizes he can’t be everywhere to protect everyone. Knowing figures like Captain Marvel are out in space helping other planets, he realizes earth may still be left vulnerable as he hasn’t been invited to a new avengers teams.
Thor heads to earth, trying to find the other heroes and inspire them to return. Starting at the Sanctum Santurum, before he can enter, a TVA door opens and out steps Loki, who goes
“brother?” I a very confused manner, cuts to credits.
Post credit picks up where the movie ending as Loki reunites with Thor breaking down into tears. Explaining that an un-defeatable evil is on its way.
Off screen we hear a “what the fu….” As we see Sam
