Alpha Sapphire update: I'm on my seventh gym badge, just got to the Seafloor Cavern. I don't really pay attention to the the dialogue or the story because I've already been through it, I mostly just put on a podcast in the background and play.

Also as I mentioned above I got a shiny Tentacool and also farmed for Heart Scales, and now I have way more than I need.

Soon I will have that last Deoxys, 2 long play sessions are all I need and unfortunately I have plenty of free time so I'll probably be done with it by Sunday.


On another note -
I was worried that this game would feel outdated since I'm used to the more nonlinear Pokémon games with mostly better QoL features so I'm pleased to report that this game is still fun to play in 2023, it's not too slow and in some areas the QoL is actually superior to the modern games (Unbreakable TMs, how I missed you).

At the time SwSh came out I was genuinely unsure if I would still enjoy the older games, and to me this proves that the problem is either that SwSh and BDSP were ****, that this format works better for handheld gaming, or both. I'm leaning towards both.

Glad you are enjoying Alpha Saphire! It was one of my favourite Pokémon remakes back when It released, I should get onto It again at some point.

Wow, so It really has been that long.

I still remember when It got announced and all the hype there was for it. Specially the Hoenn Confirmed videos.

Despite how cumbersome the Umbran Slave mechanic is, the Demonic Masquerade mechanic is right up my alley and I desperately want to see both what every weapon from the past games would allow Bayonetta to turn into and what the few demons she's summoned as part of Climax attacks in the past that don't get weapons in this game would get as weapons.

And yes, in my head Chain Chomp's Demon Masquerade would be Bowser and we'd get to see Bayonetta half transformed into Bowser. Bowsanetta if you will.

The only thing we know about the 19th Tera type is that the Tera Blast does neutral damage to Dragon/Flying Pokémon.

We'll probably have to wait for The Indigo Disk to release to know more.

It’s probably just the ??? Type.

With my guess being you lose any weakness, but you also lose your type for a stronger neutral damage move on all types.

basically let’s you turn a Pokémon into a distraction in a fight if you need to stall or setup.

based on reviews, Blue Beetle seems to be a good keeper for the DCU’s beginnings

and then there’s the Nightwing stuff his fans are hating

So uhh, apparently a Hurricane is going to hit SoCal within the next few days.

Thankfully my family and I don't live close to the coast, so at worst we might just have to worry about high winds and thunderstorms, but those storms might still be more intense than what we're used to, and California in general hasn't been hit or severally affected by hurricane in decades, so I'm still rather concerned. I really hope the state in general isn't struck too badly by it.

I feel it'll have a gimmick that isn't focus on super effective but maybe power and/or status.

Yeah uh I live in Orange County and that's way too close for comfort.

I don't have a car so commuting to work with all the wind and flooding might be a problem. I'm hoping businesses close down but I haven't heard anything about that yet? If my store doesn't then they should expect a lot of call outs.

I thought my fight with Archie would be difficult since he can mega evolve his Sharpedo and the only real counter I have to that is my Mega Blaziken, which is weak to water.

Instead the dumb ass ************ switched into his Sharpedo while my Aggron was using Earthquake and it got one shotted brfore it could mega evolve. It's even funnier when he sent out his Muk again and I had to 2-shot it
