Yeah uh I live in Orange County and that's way too close for comfort.
I don't have a car so commuting to work with all the wind and flooding might be a problem. I'm hoping businesses close down but I haven't heard anything about that yet? If my store doesn't then they should expect a lot of call outs.
Most businesses should close by tomorrow, unless the Hurricane fizzles out quickly and gets downgraded. It's a Category 4 right now, but even Category 1 hurricanes are dangerous, so unless the storm fizzles out almost entirely, businesses are almost certainly going to close for the weekend and maybe a few days after.
Either way, stay safe. Batten down the hatches at your home however possible.
And in news that is downright ridiculous, X/Twitter is going to remove the block feature outside DMs.
Lmao I would straight up not be able to escape the people who hate me had I stayed, that's ****ing ridiculous
I know Elon is actively trying to destroy Twitter at this point and that's whatever, but having users be unable to block stuff they don't want to see could actually be dangerous to their mental health so that's just ****ing ****ty
Yeah, this is the opposite of a good decision.
Twitter's enough of a toxic cesspool as is, so removing or limiting a blocking feature is just going to make a platform that's already been awful for years now even worse.
