Sword and Shield had problems but...

They weren't that bad. Jeez.
I was playing it up for comedic affect

Even so I 100% consider them to be my least favorite games in the franchise and while some of that blame does fall on me for building up so much anticipation for their release, I stand by the fact that they are not good games overall.

Part of me is convinced that the main reason for the Garden of Banban's spike in popularity are Jacksepticeye's videos of him suffering through the first two games.
Think a lot of it's due to the monsters being simplistic in design and super brightly colored. Kids eat that **** up. That, and they're always adding more and more characters to bloat the game.

Granted, now Skibidi Toilet seems to have taken the 1# spot..... for better or for worse.

There's also the fact the games come out in like, 2 month intervals. Hell, they're already promoting not only game 5, but also game 6.
Reminds me of the good ol days when Fnaf was new, and the next sequel would drop every few months.

Jesus Christ Banban is classic Fnaf for Gen Alpha...

Last word on Sword and Shield, but I did actually hate playing it again. Like it's the type of game I genuinely don't have fun when I play, the map design is garbage even in the Isle of Armor where it's slightly less garbage, the music got aggravating, the bike controls are weirdly realistic and not fun, and the less said about Max Raid Battles the better. It made me rage frequently, and while I shouldn't play games that make me do that, my completionist desires made the final call.

In other words the game is doodoo caca #BringBackNationalSex

All this makes me realize that Poppy's Playtime fumbled the bag
Their corporate practices aside, I will always respect taking the time necessary to make a game as good as it can be. Crunch is a terrible thing, especially for employees who probably aren't being paid fairly.

But in the rapid pace world of children's mascot horror...yeah, they took too long and now they've been replaced by singing toilets.

The singing toilets will be replaced too, this is the Cocomelon gen.

Edit: or actually, this may be the Spider-Man and Elsa gen, kids born in 2010 would be 13 as of this year. Elsagate was a mid 2010s thing

I dunno what surprises me more, there not being more Gmod/SFM veterans into Skibidi Toilet, or Skibidi Toilet being considered "mascot horror" when it's supposed to be about kiddy things becoming scary and yet Skibidi Toilet involves assets from an M-rated game.

Not that I wasn't playing HL2 when I was too young to be looking at corpse01.vtf,,,

I posted this on my profile, so i will summarize theory/personal thought:
Project X Zone 3 will never be materialized because MonolithSoft knows that Sonic fans would be upset if the blue blur doesn't appear.
TL;DR Sonic fans unintentionally killed any chance for a third PxZ.

Yes
would I get crucified if I said the NFTs was probably the biggest nail, despite being the smallest problem of those three
Morally it's the lightest of their offenses. But this was during the peak of "NFT BAD" so that got all the attention.

And don't get me wrong, NFT's are ****ing dumb. But y'know, priorities.

Speaking of things getting popular with kids

How did Sonic.EXE become popular again

And it was because of Friday Night Funkin' of all things

I don't get the connection between the two

Even if it wasn't the peak of NFT Bad, Shroob's 3rd point would probably be the least of their worries since a lot of them chalk it up to "just being the internet". Which actually sucks but that's a post for another time.

Idk if harassment campaigns would sink it, that depends on how many glizzy gobblers Poppy's Playtime has.

Mods. Why else would FNF make Madness Combat cool with the kids two years ago when it doesn't officially have any Madness content?

And most likely never will since that Kickstarter version looks like another crowdfunding scam?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I still to this day will never understand how Sonic.EXE became as popular as it did in the first place. It's just one of those things that seems like it's trying to be creepy for the sake of it. And for the most part, it even fails at that.

It's not like it's just because it's a video game Creepypasta, either. Ben Drowned and Godzilla NES seem to be extremely well-received video game Creepypastas that aren't just popular, but are also held in high regard among Creepypastas in general.

Sonic.EXE got popular because it was terrible, like The Room.

It's an awful story, with an even worse creator, but it did coin a lot of **** like the HYPER REALISTIC BLOOD.

Thinking about it from the other day

Man, Violet players really do have it easy to shiny hunt their Paradoxes, huh?

The only 2 that are even with Scarlet's difficulty are Iron Hands and Iron Thorns, which have the same problems of Slither Wing and Sandy Shocks, whereas everything else to my knowledge can be more or less target hunted easily.

Has it ever been confirmed if Bloody Gir actually ever appeared in any more than two episodes?
Checking wikis and posts for 2 minutes tells me that there have only been 2 definitive sightings but there have been things that kinda look like it and a few episodes where people who worked on the show said there are, but have not been found.

Him making small secret appearances in episodes is why the show got canceled in the first place. Nick told Vasquez to quit doing it but still proceeded on doing it.
