Gen 9's release date isn't exactly going to be
hanging around in Sw/Sh's code. Neither would its country of inspiration.

They aren’t the only person reporting on it, that Centro Pokémon leaks place is too and they seems to have had access to CT stuff early which is what led to the leaks.

Regardless, it might not be gen 9
But a follow up to sword and shield. I only speculated China and gen 9 based on their earlier hints. It may actually be a sword and shield 2 based on a tweeted they quoted saying such with just a heart.

So who knows but it could be interesting. Also it really isn’t that hard to believe dataminers are in contact with sources. It would not surprised if people that have actually info turned to datatminers to see if during demos or stuff like that if they could find evidence of things a source told them. But that’s merely speculation. Also if real we are only 3 months out from announcement so it wouldn’t surprise me if people started hearing things.

After all Let’s go was known about for around 4 or so months before it’s reveal.

To be fair, I have never seen Futurama.

It's one of the greatest comedy shows ever written.

And it had 7 seasons, which is normally the optimal time for a show to be long enough to enjoy for a long time, but not TOO long to the point where it becomes stale and dry. Groening's other work, the Simpsons, has far worse consequences: 8 golden age seasons, followed by a dip dating as far back as season 9, and they're on season 32 now and have continued to grow more and more mediocre since the late 90s.

An extremely odd choice for a title screen for Pokemon Sword. With no gen 8 Pokemon, a mega evolution, and Pokemon that got cut, this would pass as a bootleg.
