Among Us is cheap as hell, if not free on mobile, and can be played on a potato pc.
Among Us is fun, but tbh, it's kinda miserable in pubs, it's a lot more fun in organized groups.

Among Us stole Fall Guys hype after Fall Guys was the supposed big game of the year. Plus, you got AOC's stream of Among Us, being one of the most viewed Twitch streams of all time, which pratically spells free money for the devs. Fall Guys just kinda... came and went. It's not dead, but it's getting nowhere near the exposure of Among Us is.

Tbh if I was an indie dev and my game was even half as popular as Fall Guys was at its peak, I'd be absolutely thrilled. I don't feel bad for that game at all, even if Among Us stole its thunder.

Pubbed Among Us is just kinda ****. You get good games sure, but then you get games where like, 2-3 people leave at the start because they didn't roll imposter.

The one problem Among Us has outside of discord cheating is hacks. Ran into 3 hackers today and they were untouchable. They had hacks that cut vote time and made the game act like they were dead despite being alive Which was super cheap.

I have a gut feeling that Fall Guys could receive some Among Us content later down the line, what with either game sharing extremely similar characters and the social meedz people being chummy with both fans and other companies. Might just be me, but I'm sticking by it.

Funny thing is, thanks to mods you can actually play Among Us with 100 players now. And I'm not talking about Mr. Beast's version of 100 players.
There's a mod where you get 90 Crewmates, 10 Impostors, and the chat and voting system works no different than normal, only adjusting in accordance to the number of players. It's glorious.
I would say that title could go to Fall Guys, really.

It does, though. The fact that AOC choose Among Us over Minecraft or Fall Guys shows how huge Among Us is right now. AOC and Ilhan Omar aren't your average gamers and streamers, they are politicians that are immensely popular.

However, AOC was probably aiming to play the most trendy game right now, and the fact that she chose Among Us out of any other trendy games shows that Among Us is quite popular right now.

I don't know how many Hours i've spent in the Hammer editor in the past, I've tried to make TF2 Maps, SFM maps you name it. That program honestly terrifies me, I wish you luck in your endeavors.
