IDK, I kind of feel like the General Direct format is done. Nintendo seems pretty content to just focus on one or two major games at a time and drop trailers in people's sub box on YouTube and on Twitter.

Like, regardless of the lack of proper Generals, pretty much all of Nintendo's games did crazy good last year. I think single game focused presentations, announcements, and Partner Showcases are gonna be the new plan going forward for them.


...Which is really sad, because none of these presentations have even half the charm or excitement a General brings, lol.

I don't like the idea of Nintendo ports being sold back for $60, but I may make an exception for 3D World if the added content is worth the full price.

I feel like for most of these games it’s a fair priced because of how few people played them and because they have a lot of content already. I’d say they goal is probably for them to get the players who didn’t play them to play them now rather then those that did because the former is a larger crowd. Still the Mario games offer so many levels and a lot of fun co op stuff so those ports are worth it either way just to have fun with.

Is GameXplain deadass not gonna address the complaints?

It’s Andre, he comes off pretty conceding and if you have a different opinion from him you get blocked,

so the answer is no most likely. He will continue not paying the new members fairly While he clearly makes most of the money that comes in.

So I'm fairly confident my sister is a hoarder like our mother and grandmother were and tomorrow I'm going to try to talk to her about it.

I'm not looking forward to this conversation...I'm not sure how she's going to take it. Knowing her she'll either sheepishly agree or go straight into denial. But it needs to happen. Our home is a complete mess and she's digging herself deeper and deeper into debt with her excessive purchases.

What I'm most scared of though that talking to her about it won't actually change anything. It takes a lot of work to fix a bad habit, and I don't think I have what it takes to put the right amount of pressure on her to.

I just don't know what to do.

I don't think I'll double dip, since I have the game on the Wii U, but maybe this trailer will convince me. (I think the only Wii U game that I double-dipped on for a Switch release was Bayonetta 2 - I didn't even get Mario Maker 2 because I had Mario Maker 1)

Mario Maker 2 isn't as much as a port morseo just completely overhauling the game design and shoving it on the Switch.

The entire game is by design powered by user generated stuff too so Mario Maker 1 vs Mario Maker II will feel vastly different, despite the similar graphics and engine.

Agreed, I didn't come in with high hopes but an open-world mario sidemode is something I've been wanting for a long time

That's my impression of this trailer.

If we forget Smash Bros for a bit, is this Bowser Jr first time in decades using the paintbrush he had in Sunshine? Yeah I don't remember the name Or did he use it in another Mario game?

The music is pretty spicy too, and the world look quite interesting.
