Ngl, I didn't realize Panty and Stocking was as popular as it was until it was the top of trending on Twitter with 82.4K posts after Season 2 was announced.
I thought it was still some niche anime that's known as a cult-classic, but it's Season 2 announcement was far bigger then any other announcement at Anime Expo by a mile.

This was 18 hours ago, but it's still insane.
