It was the first game to portray Bowser as a sensitive guy who acted like a monster to hide his insecurities. So that’s pretty dope.

SMRPG is still my personal favorite even if some of the latter games like Thousand Year Door and Superstar Saga are objectively better.

It's just a super charming game and it holds a lot of nostalgia and sentimental value to me since it's among the few SNES carts I've owned since childhood.
