I am intrigued by these Backrooms.

What are they?
The Backrooms is a Creepypasta that originally started with one post, then became a hit that branched out into multiple different continuities on different websites and wikis:

Originally, this image of an empty office area got posted in response to a thread about images that looked inherently unsettling. Someone replied to it with their own idea, dubbing it "The Backrooms", an essentially endless maze of the same repeating office rooms and hallways that could only be entered if one "noclips" through reality itself, with implications that there may either be monsters living somewhere within the maze or that those trapped there will be driven mad to the point where they begin to hallucinate things that aren't there.

Eventually, the eerie concept spiraled out into various stories and apparently at least two separate websites/wikis that explored the idea of the Backrooms having various other levels, all of which were some kind of liminal spaces with eerily uncanny realism, some of which even seemingly take place outdoors along with the introduction of various "Entities", monsters of many different varieties that lurked that Backrooms, most of which are extremely dangerous, though a few are actually friendly and helpful. Since there's a few different websites dedicated to the Backrooms, though, the levels and entities you can read about are probably inconsistent.

To top it all off, ever since a short film uploaded by Youtube user Kane Pixels about the Backrooms went viral, the Backrooms has became even more of a hit. Oh, and did I mention that Kane Pixels' version of the Backrooms follows yet another separate continuity?

Yeah.....Like I said, it's complicated lol. It's definitely a refreshing take on horror, but based on what I've read about it so far, this still isn't even the tip of the iceberg.

My Nintendo Direct predictions:

  1. People will praise it as the best direct ever
  2. People will bash it as the worst direct ever
  3. ARMS 2 will finally be announced, trust me

Okay, but fr, my bold prediction is that we'll finally see Metroid Prime 4. It's been 3 1/2 years, since development moved over to Retro. I think it's finally time

Oh, Persona 4 is being retranslated for the XBox version.
...They are going to lean in on the "Naoto is trans" audience are they? The people who misunderstood the point of her arc.

I hope they don't patch the currently available PC version of P4G with the new script their working on.

One of the hypest moments in Nintendo history.

I was coming off one of the suckiest days I’ve ever had, and I really needed something to lift my spirits.

And then they dropped this ****.

Good times :nifty:
I'll never forget yelling out "PICHU IS BACK!" in the middle of a Mc donalds and having the people in other tables look over to me.

I have to admit. Smash Bros was the major attention grabber for Directs while it was still active. Now, other games like Splatoon 3, Metroid Prime 4?, Bayonetta 3 and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are the current attention people are focused on.

I hope we get another Project something something game from Square Enix solely for the salt.
I feel like we could get anything SE and Nintendo fans will hate it because SE's big titles is primarily on PlayStation and they "betrayed" Nintendo in the 90s.

Except for DQ11, but that was all for their bull**** war against SwSh and they didn't even buy the game. Not me tho, bought both and don't regret it.

I wouldn’t push that luck in reaching a billion just because the past 2 did. Even tho Covid isn’t holding theaters back anymore, there still aren’t that many movies that have gotten super lucky just yet…and I guess the reviews might be a tiny problem as well. At most, it’s overall box office will at least pass Battle at Lake Changjin 2.
Nostalgia is helluva drug. One of the reasons why the Jurassic World films have done so well, topping that nostalgia having Alan Grant and Ellen again along with Ian Malcolm.

You also know the main draw for dinosaurs? Kids. Kids love dinosaurs and knowing them would keep asking their parents to go see the film.

And as I mentioned before. Fallen Kingdom had similar reception, still made a billion. Opening day this film made $147 million, same as Fallen Kingdom did the day it opened.

It's definitely going to hit a billion.
