:ultbanjokazooie: are dead
Now cry

But for real that was a decent show. My personal highlights are Silksong, Redfall, Flight Simulator, and Starfield

Jurassic World will be compared to No Way Home
If you mean in terms of box office yes it will be.

In terms of reviews. Ehhh...It's been getting rather savage reviews and deemed the worst in the trilogy. One review even compared it to Roland Emmerich's GODZILLA.

Still gonna make a buttload of money tho especially since Fallen Kingdom had similar reception.

They’re both about bugs.
good thing only one has Willem Dafoe, therefore we know which is superior

I meant how both movies focus on the past and present cast members of different movies to come together as a celebration of the same franchise, then to push the present into a new and depressing future…

that box office is definitely not going to be near the levels of MCU Spider-Man let’s be real (that’s currently what Doctor Strange and Top Gun are for atm)

You realize the last two Jurassic Worlds made over a billion right?

This one no doubt will as well. In fact it had a similar opening Friday as Fallen Kingdom did with $147 million, which also met similar reception in terms of reviews. Nowhere as much as Spider-Man: No Way Home but Top Gun: Maverick is debatable, both could end around the same amount of money.

Reasons for these films doing well is likely a combination of nostalgia of the original films as well as people loving dinosaurs because who doesn't? I got no complaints, if it has dinosaurs, I'm already all down!

One would have honestly thought Banjo's inclusion in Smash through the permission of Phil Spencer would have certainly brought the bear and bird duo back for a revival game.

Guess that doesn't seem like the case...

Not too sure now on King K. Rool returning as the main villain for a new Donkey Kong game...

The two really aren't connected in any way. Different studios and all.

Not to say it'll definitely happen, but there not being a new Banjo has nothing to do with K Rool in the next DK.

Besides, we all know there won't be a new DK :217:

There was never a direct correlation between a character getting into Smash and their series having a revival, tbh.

A lot of characters enter crossover titles despite being from dormant franchises.

True.

Looks at Morrigan and Felicia

Give me a new Darkstalkers game god dammit!

I'd notably like to see characters based more on cryptids as was the case with Sasquatch and of course a kushtaka.

I know that, what I mean is if Banjo ain't getting a new game, what would the chances be K. Rool returns as the villain in the next Donkey Kong game if that happens?

Nintendo has no social obligation anymore and we know every game they have for the year.

IMO, Directs are peaced out until September at the earliest.
I mean, there's obviously still a chance. Maybe they really feel like giving us trailers for the same few games (which I wouldn't complain about btw) and there'd probably be a new announcement or two.

But for the first time in a while, we kinda know everything they're up to for for the rest of the year. It's the least necessary a direct has felt in a long time.

Yeah

His performance as the Giganotosaurus was incredible.
the only dinosaur in cinema history to have the perfect drip

I wouldn’t push that luck in reaching a billion just because the past 2 did. Even tho Covid isn’t holding theaters back anymore, there still aren’t that many movies that have gotten super lucky just yet…and I guess the reviews might be a tiny problem as well. At most, it’s overall box office will at least pass Battle at Lake Changjin 2.

Jesus christ Jurassic World Dominion was a complete ****show and a flat out mind-numbing mess of a "finale" to a trilogy. You will leave the theater with more confusion and questions than anything else
