This showcase's demon is of the Kishin race:

“I’m Kishin Marici. My opponents can no more resist my might than puddles under the searing sun!”

Alignment: Neutral-Good

Origin: Buddhist mythology. Mārīcī is a deity and a bodhisattva of light and sun whose name means “ray of light”. She is usually depicted as a multi-armed and headed goddess but she’s sometimes thought to be a male god. As she's associated with boars, she's sometimes depicted to ride or possess the face of one. Marici has compassionate sides but is also a fierce warrior goddess in other versions, which show her wearing a necklace made of skulls.

Skills: Matarukaja, Berserker God, Impaler’s Animus, Makarakarn

Marici is an old deity and has a lot of appearances that can vary wildly. SMT follows her Chinese depictions more closely, with her having four arms and three faces. Fitting to her contrasting sides, she has a gentle expression on her faces but is also armed to boot. The objects she holds in her hands seem to belong to various paintings/statues so it’s possible that they come from a single, specific portrayal. If I’m not wrong, Marici is the only female demon among Kishin race.

Forgot to mention this but last night before sleeping I caught a Shiny Zubat in Pokémon Go. I immediately transferred it to Home so it can live in Sword.
Since my first Shiny was a Golbat in Diamond, this means I have come full circle.

Honestly my biggest issue with dubs is when content about the dub is the only thing publicly available, or people don't label clip videos properly as (sub/dub) and instead leave it ambiguous enough that I think it's the sub.(or make finding the sub really annoying, cough cough Crunchyroll cough cough)

it's probably one of my biggest anime peeves, especially when I'm looking for that one clip I remember from an older anime and all I can find is the dub when I want to use the subs to make quoting it easier via screenshot

I beat the Omega Rugal boss challenge in King of Fighters 15 this morning. Surprisingly, it only took me three tries - rolling through his attacks to get behind him and using the auto-combo helped a lot. (maybe I could have tried to beat him without relying on the auto-combo, but considering that his combos can take off 80+% of a character's health bar, I figured that anything goes)

I doubt that Rugal has any kind of story mode ending with any teams - maybe once Geese gets added, but even then, probably not. Still, the challenge was fun and still pretty frustrating, even if he seemed easier (relatively speaking) than the Rugal boss fights from previous games. (thank goodness his Genocide Cutter doesn't take off 2/3 of your health like it could in '94)

I don't really think much about dubs or subs, mostly just go with the version which has voices of my taste.

I don't really think much about dubs or subs, mostly just go with the version which has voices of my taste.

Honestly I know basically 0 VA names(it's been a long standing thing with me; I have trouble remembering names in general unless I deliberately put effort in to memorize them) so I default to sub 99% of the time unless it's like, the fullmetal alchemist dub.

also I just think japanese sounds kickass so

Nah, It is neat to see what people prefer regarding the media they watch.

I usually prefer subs because it's always clear what characters are exactly saying. Sometimes I mishear or fail to catch what a character says in a movie/series and have to finish it before I can check.

It's a minor thing but makes a lot of difference to me, though in the end, I watch both dubbed and subbed anime depending on the voice cast.

Yeah, I get It. Subs can really help a lot.
More so for me in order to catch up with Fast English conversations (a subject I still need to polish out a bit).

Though an exception to that would be Black Lagoon, because it just isn't the same without someone swearing every few seconds.

The only way dubs can be bad is if you have bad voice direction/ or bad VA or if you do with FUNimation didn't start adding all political stuff in there for no reason other than to make a statement like mentioning gamergate or the "patriarchal societal demands" line in Dragon Maid.

Thats not to say there isn't bad Japanese dubs anime because there is plenty of bad Japanese dub anime that no amount of Subs can fix

I usually prefer my anime subbed. It's part of the vibe for me. It's not that I'm opposed to watching dubbed anime if the dub is good, but I will usually default to the sub. That said I appreciate Voice actors of both the English and Japanese languages
