Honestly the thing about Roblox is; the actual game engine and the stuff you can do with it is cool

It's just literally everything else about the platform that sucks(monetizing child labor, getting kids addicted to gambling, predatory systems, fetish games becoming normalized, etc) that sucks about the platform.

Games like these that are well made and polished are such a rarity on the platform because they don't include a predatory gameplay loop like the 900 other copy pasted simulator games have of "log in, idle for multiple hours with an autoclicker, buy lootboxes, rinse and repeat"

Edit: reading is hard, I took a glance and thought this was talking about a different roblox sonic game I've been following

I mean

I've seen legit talent on the platform, it's just that it's like finding the only needle on planet earth, and the earth is made out of haystacks.

The N64 kids are slowly losing control over the conversation. Right now, GameCube is hot in the retro scene and Wii nostalgia is starting to gain traction.

If I had to predict algorithms, I have a feeling "Wii was the best, actually" videos will start cropping up within the next two or three years after the GameCube kids lose their spotlight when they run out of ways to hype up TTYD and Metroid Prime for the 1,000th time.

I mean, the Wii has both Mario Galaxies and Brawl in their corner, they definitely got the heavy ammunition in the Nintendo nostalgia wars.

However, they also have arguably the worse version of Twilight Princess and the somehow still most divisive Zelda, so it isn't a perfect defense. They also have waggle, which N64 boomers and GCN kids unite on hating with the passion of a thousand suns.

Personally, I'm siding with the 3DS kids. Console was dope, with very few stinkers in the library IMO (unless you're a salty Metroid fan who can't let go, but I digress).

Good, I said this yesterday on Twitter, but I was hoping he gets doxxed so he loses that anonymity and gets taken to court for his cyber bullying and harassment. He uses his platform to spout hate and violence, he doesn’t deserve to have it still.

For reasons I don’t know, I put a couple songs from my music libraries on my Nintendo 3DS music app tonight.

We got a sampling of songs from a bunch of media, including video games, cartoons, and anime!

I also got a look at 2012 SneakyLink’s 3DS music. While there are a lot of hits (Game Room theme!), there are questionable choices (why do I have the Cod Zombies soundtrack on my 3DS?).

Overall, it’s interesting how I still don’t have all the tips regarding the usage of the app.
