I've had a rather productive day having done a load of drawing, crafting and cooking today.

Anyways even though I am very late, so it seems there is a new Pokemon Violet and Scarlet editions with three brand new starters with a grass cat, a fire croc and a water bird. I'm curious to see what their final evolutions will look like.

I do agree with ZephyrZ that Scarlet/Violet should not use Legends: Arceus' battle system but I still would like to see it as a battle format in Pokémon Showdown just for fun.

I like my Greninjas and Decidueyes but I think no Pokémon demonstrates the problem with continuing this trend better than Inteleon, dude looks lanky as hell and it's uncanny.

It should take some notes but not the whole thing as that was designed more for single player in mind (why didn't the game offer multiplayer battles?)

Plus competitive Pokémon battling is way too important to The Pokémon Company to drastically change it.

Seriously though, I discussed this with my friend today - I feel some of the starters that ended up being bipedal are huge missed opportunities. Especially Emboar and Incineroar.

A straight up fire boar would've been rad and as a cat person I cannot even begin to express my raw disappointment with how Incineroar turned out.

Ironically enough we agreed that Samurott should've been bipedal but I let it slide because I think it looks rad anyway.
