Man if it wasn't for my writers block and obsessive compulsive thoughts. I'd be writing this crossover for sure.

A crossover between Gamera and Hilda. I feel it clicks being basing it off the Heisei incarnation, Gamera is the guardian of earth on top of being the friend of all children. Hilda in contrast had grown up in the wilderness and loving nature so I can imagine the friendship and bond the two would have.

Idea of my story would be that one day Hilda had nearly lost everyone dear to her when they came. Her friends David and Frida, Tontu, Kaisa, all of Trolberg devoured by the Shadow of Evil, the Gyaos. No one knew where they had come from. They just showed up one day devouring everything in their path that they considered to be food to them.

Running for their lives in the midst of the chaos alongside escaping citizens trying to avoid being eaten. Johanna continues to tell her daughter to run as she (With Alfur on her) along with Twig continues to do so telling her not to look back as a Gyaos has its eyes on them chasing them. Johanna turning around and realizing the Gyaos is starting to catch up and she won't be able to escape it wants to ensure her daughter's survival by pushing her ahead which confuses Hilda as she turns around to see her mum suddenly stopping standing as the Gyaos closes in, she tells Hilda she loves her before the Gyaos scoops her up with its jaws flying off. Hilda in tears cries out as she tries to give chase to the particular Gyaos calling out for her mum before kneeling and breaks down crying.

Alfur tells her there's nothing she can do and that they have to keep going or else they'll end up just like everyone else.

Now only with only her loyal and trustworthy deerfox Twig and elf friend Alfur in trying to survive in this new world ravaged by the flying evils. Luck and hope thankfully comes to them when as they're just as they're about to join everyone else in death, a certain guardian saves them both from minutes away from being eaten.

Gamera, Guardian of the Universe and Friend of all Children.

Hilda, Twig and Alfur were the only survivors of Trolberg.

Developing a link-bond with the turtle guardian due to her kind nature and connection she has to the wilderness. She, Twig, Alfur and Gamera embark on a quest to rid the world of his nemesis the Gyaos to finally bring hope to the world once again and hopefully rebuild what was taken from everyone, all while Hilda, Twig and Alfur overtime learn and find out more about Gamera's origin of where he came from, the connection he seems to have with his nemesis' and how they both came to be.
