After 150 hours I've Made it to the games final fight

I think SRW30 might be the longest game I've ever played

The only other game i can think of That i put this much Time into on my First run of it Is Pokémon Platinum. Which was 300 hours because i did the Battle frontier shenanigans

Some site, I believe Nintendo Life, made an article about how the game isn't that bad and how it was more enjoyable to the writer than Mario 3D World Bowser's Fury, which got reposted on twitter 5 times. If you like a bad game then honestly, more power to you but like, this isn't a ****ing war or anything lmao so the site feverishly defending it was seen as hilarious

ah

I saw that article headline.

...

The fact people are interacting with it that much means the article writer's goal was 100% achieved: They got the funny gamer clicks.

Seems all it takes to get an article noticed nowadays is just a "HOT TAKE" and to be obnoxious about how you share it.

I mean, this is absolutely nothing new, outrage news is a pretty common tactic as clicks are still clicks, engagement is still engagement. People are just too ****ing stupid to realize they're being played

Feel hurt right now.

So I sent an anime meme to a friend.

He shouts at me to go **** off and grow up cause his girlfriend is in labour.

I'm sorry I'm not clairvoyant!

Gave me another reason I'm wanting out of this ****hole.

thats the best AA name I have ever seen

you are damned right, and the best part is, I cant get flamed for calling Bruno cute because he is an adult

unlike the adults on twitter going crazy for Camilo
Bruno was definitely a highlight
It’s set in Colombia, not Mexico.

I gotta watch Wandavision before Doctor Strange comes out lol

The only Disney+ marvel show I watched is Falcon and the Winter Soldier
you also have to watch What If…and likely Loki as well…

I find it funny how Dolores always knew he was in the walls and just never said anything.
I took that scene as her thinking she was hearing ghosts or something amongst those lines, and did y actually but into what she heard

I'm so pissed at myself.

One of the few times I've screwed up with friends when I shouldn't have. (look at my serious post)

I need a hug.

Wademan94 Wademan94 can you send me something cute to cheer me up?

EDIT: Never mind. It is probably not a big deal. It's not the end of the world. Just because he said that, does not mean he hates you.

Not to diminish your feelings on the experience, but I don’t really think this is a huge deal.

Your friend is stressed out because his girlfriend is in excruciating pain and he’s hours away from becoming a father. He’s probably a bit agitated. You sent a joke at a bad time, but you didn’t know it was a bad time.

What I’m saying is, don’t beat yourself up over it. It’s not a huge mishap, it was an honest mistake.

Tbh, labor is very stressing for all parties involved, so while I'm not saying that him snapping is ok, but he's probably super stressed out and not mad at you. Tbh, I'd just wait a bit and apologize for the innapropiate timing, even if it was unintentional.

Listen,

you didn’t do anything wrong in that situation. Quite frankly your “friend” is an asshole to act like that. If they cared about their wife being in labor, they wouldn’t be on a phone.

Also no normal person reacts like that to any meme. So they probably have a lot of issues. You didn’t deserve a reaction like that when you were trying to share some laughs with someone. So don’t blame yourself, your “friend” probably isn’t worth it.

Like if they were stressed about labor, they would have thought to notify people that mattered to them that his wife was in it. Flipping out like that is childish and makes no sense. Now if they said, hey can i look at this later, my wife is in labor, it would be a different story.

The British are the reason why my ass is stuck in America so by all means I support any and all bullying of British people.
Well, I mean the Welsh national football team did celebrate England's loss against Iceland at the Euros football tournament six years ago:

Anyways speaking of Encanto, if there is a chance of a continuation, I think an animated series for Disney+ might be a good way to exploit the family even further.

Lastly (this will be my last rant) one of my concerns and fears of Bob Chapek's Disney CEO era is that he's already made one mistake with what happened with Black Widow last year and if this is true, he has now created another one with what is going on with Turning Red (whilst I do understand that there is the pandemic still going on, this will make the creative talent unhappy.) I will say that he (Chapek) does not seem to have the same vision in what Bob Iger had achieved.

Good old times.
In those times, I used to be happy 8-9 year old dreaming about the future.
Now, I'm teenager with mixed feelings.

I kinda disagree on this. If the labor mattered to them and they didn’t want to be bothered, they would have made their friends and family aware. Which they seemingly did neither. Also stress or not, to flip out on a meme doesn’t really make sense.

If they wanted to focus on the labor, they wouldn’t pay attention to a phone, or they would have said this isnt a good time right now, I’ll espied to this later, etc.Theres So many other natural ways to react to that situation. If I saw a meme in that situation, I wouldn’t even click the message. But they took time out of their wife in labor to specifically target a response to this.

That’s not good behavior or one that makes sense if they are stressed. Just seems like a **** move imo.

Maybe, but not to side with anyone, but this was still a bad time to talk to him. And while the person whose girlfriend was in labor could have reacted better, that does not mean that this is nothing that Dutch can't get over. It is still just a little thing in my eyes. Not that big of a deal. Plus, even if he did not tell Dutch about this, note that having a child being born is still a big deal.

Again, not taking sides, as the other person could have handled it better and tell Dutch what was happening before, but still, this is not a big deal, and not the best time, too. From what I may think, Dutch's friend may apologize sometime after the baby is born.

I’m not saying he was justified in that reaction, but some people really would stop in the middle of labor to check a text. Only to get mad that it wasted their time, when they probably shouldn’t have checked it in the first place.

Which would still go back to the idea it was their own fault. It should be you and your wife as the focus, during the birth of your kid. But I suppose that’s just my opinion.

With all due respect, you're making a lot of assumptions on this person. Was he in the right to snap? No, but you have to remember people respond to stress in completely different ways, especially in situations in high amounts of stress like being in labor. You have no reason to assume that because he was on his phone that he doesn't care about his wife at all, by all means he could be asking for help via emergency or family, he could be in a hospital trying to calm him or his partner down via an app on his phone to take the stress away. Like, I gotta be honest, I'd probably say something very similar if I was in that high amount of stress, from both hearing my girl in pain and with the anxiety becoming a father. Not saying he's right to tell Dutch to **** off, but to assume that people are gonna be rational and off their phone when they're suddenly confronted with a super high stress inducing event that suddenly happens is damn near impossible. I'm sorry, but I just can't get behind the idea that somehow because he happened to be on his phone for whatever reason automatically makes him a bad partner and a horrible human being when like a ****ing lot of people would do the same.

It makes sense, nobody likes being yelled at, it makes all of is feel ****ty beyond belief. I got chewed out recently and damn did that ruin my night. We all make mistakes, intentional or unintentional. That said, this doesn't mean the end of your friendship, I'm not sure how close y'all were but again, give it some time, apologize. Congraulate on him becoming a father, it's a huge step in life that's gonna require a lot of sacrifies.
