Information on the defunct, Japan-only No More Heroes mobile game (No More Heroes: World Ranker) is very scarce.

Shame

Honestly, despite being the largest streaming platform and being owned by Amazon, the management at Twitch is piss poor.

People have been complaining about issues like unfair and inconsistent moderation and DMCA takedowns constantly, but it feels like Twitch is ignoring all that and decide to ban the "blind playthroughs" tag for some reason even through I saw nobody complain about it.

It makes me wish that Mixer was actually a viable competitor to Twitch so Twitch actually started to listen to fans...

Wait, is a trailer coming in the Next weeks?

If so holy **** I'm excited.
Hopefully!

In my case, I ain't gonna watch it. Trailers nowadays give things away and that's what I did with King of the Monsters. Plus by not watching them, the more excited and anticipated the film is as you don't know what to expect.

Godzilla also seems rather...Spikier than usual...

Hmmm, where have I seen this before?

As I predicted, taking cues from Gamera 3 as they did with the other two Heisei Gamera films for the previous MonsterVerse Godzilla films. Anti-hero Godzilla here we come!

I'm just here hoping that one day either Toho or Legendary Pictures makes a Godzilla spin-off starring Jet Jaguar.

Them appearing in the trailer for the new Godzilla anime gave me hope.

don't think so. There only are 19 cards that were given Godzilla alt arts/names, and all of them are either a variant of Godzilla or a huge monster he fought(such as Ghidorah)
Oh, okay then.

Lego Avengers and SE Avengers both have something in common

make bad plays with Spider-Man...but unlike the latter, Lego made up for no putting him in by adding an entire dlc pack about his crew in a complete game...and for free and on all consoles nonetheless

Japan has a problem with giant monsters.
Don't a decent chunk of the godzilla movies take place in america though?

I wouldn't know, I've only skimmed through the brief summaries of some of the movies.

Ok this is hype but I'm actually not going to watch it. I agree with you Michael. Movies are much more enjoyable in my eyes when you don't know much about them going in. I didn't bother to watch any trailer for King of the Monsters aside from the first official trailer and I think it helped my enjoyment of the film as I didn't see as many of the cool moments.

Also, thanks for keeping on tagging me Michael, despite me not being on this thread much. I appreciate it. The power of kaiju bros is strong indeed!

Given how much the last two MonsterVerse Godzilla films took from the previous Heisei Gamera films. I'm expecting Godzilla vs. Kong to take the same from Gamera 3.

Thus among my predictions is Godzilla becoming more anti-heroic given the whole "At least he's on our side" and "For now" notably fighting a rogue titan in a city causing massive casualties which eventually calls for his immediate destruction like as what happened with Gamera in Gamera 3.

If I had to make some guess, after multiple failed attempts in killing Godzilla and no kaiju being unable to overthrow him since they follow him as alpha, they get Kong from his island being the only thing left that could kill him.

If we are going into theories for the film, I do buy into the idea that there might be a 3rd kaiju that will force Godzilla and King Kong to team up. But they did say there will be a definitive winner. So it might end up being a situation where Godzilla pins a tired Kong down while he is underneath a bunch of rubber. Godzilla will try to finish him off with his atomic beam...then he will be disrupted by I'm guessing either Mechagodzilla, Mecha King Ghidorah, or Destroyah. The mech kaijus because of the post-credit scene where one of Ghidorah's heads is still intact, and Destroyah because of the oxygen destroyer's (rather quick) appearance in the film. Though I feel like they might save Destroyah for the Monsterverse's endgame.

I'd rather there not be a team-up, to be honest, or at least in a future movie if this film is a success and future movies are made. Just because superheroes are popular doesn't mean the film has to copy its formula when it comes to vs. movies and that isn't what giant monsters aren't, they're not superheroes. After all, these aren't human characters the audience can relate to, yes intelligent animals mind you but still giant animals. They can still have a clear winner without a team-up and death.

I sometimes feel the audience is too sensitive revolving around things notably heroes killing other heroes (Captain America vs. Iron Man in Civil War) and so the filmmakers will give them what they want rather than doing something that rarely happens.

But if there is, all I ask is they execute it well.

Ah yeah I agree about audiences being too sensitive. I'm just trying to imagine a scenario where there is a winner but no death. I'm probably overthinking and they will just have it where both Godzilla and Kong are exhausted at the end and the winner will let the loser live. Maybe one of them will run away or the winner will just put their feet on top of the loser to assert dominance.

Or it ends with them assuming the other to be dead and leaves, which after leaving, the other awakens to find the other gone.

Thete was also this awesome animation fight between them on YouTube. It could end like the such as a post-credits scene.
