I went and watched The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad on Disney+, as it was on my bucket list for quite a bit.

The Wind in the Willows segment was decent, though I think a bit more running time for it would've gone a long way. 7/10.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow segment was my favorite of the two. Surprisingly mean-spirited, and i kinda loved it for it. Did have some pacing issues (the Headless Horseman doesn't pop up til the last 5 minutes), but overall, an enjoyable, spoopy short. 8/10.

In terms of the entire package, it's a 7.5/10. Both good shorts that really meshed well together thematically and aesthetically, even if they're nothing insane.

This was the first of the Package Era WDAS films i've seen, and most people seem to agree it's the best of the bunch. Will try to get to others eventually, but they're not as big as priority for me rn.

Is it the tone? XVI looks a lot edgier than damn near everything else in the franchise so I can imagine it being offputting

KOF Maximum Impact is fun. A little weird in some areas, but it's got some Tekken-ish strings in it. Unlike Tekken, the recover button is on punches and that's messing with my muscle memory. Mostly played Terry, most of his strings work well being cancelled into Power Dunk. He's got a Twin Pistons type of launcher you can follow that up with Burn Knuckle. And Power Wave can work for one of his low strings. Trying to find ways to really use Crack Shoot outside of an anti-air is a bit tricky or using it by itself. I need to really figure out the crazier combos, but I've got some standard string/special cancels.

As you'd expect, the bosses are cheap. Cause he has infinite meter and the dude can just press buttons all day.

Still not gonna be able to play it because it’s only on PlayStation 5. I’m excited to learn more. But I don’t think I’ll be playing FF16 for a while. Either until a PS5 ends up in my possession or until they have the sense to port it to Xbox.

Alignment: Dark-Chaos

Origin: Slavic mythology. A water spirit which name means “watery”. A vodyanoy looks like a naked old man with a frog-like face, a greenish beard, and a body covered with moss and black scales. He may also have webbed hands, a fishtail, and burning red eyes. They ride along the rivers on a log and when angered, even one vodyanoy can drown people and animals and break dams and watermills. A ruler vodyanoy sits on a black cloud and creates new rivers.

Skills: Ice Breath, Acrobat Kick, Rakunda

Next time, you will meet a demon of the Fury race.

This may just be a translation thing but the word SMT uses for these demons is “Vodyanik”, not “vodyanoy”, which is used in Tsar Vodyanik: A king vodyanoy, implying that this ugly old demon is not just any ordinary Slav monster. I like how accurate Vodyanik looks most of the time (with some kappa inspirations) but I wish his face was more like a frog. The long nose seems a bit weird compared to the rest of the design, even if it makes him look like Igor creepy as he should.

Can't say that I'm surprised that Covid is causing complications especially within video game development. Either ways I am eager to see what is in store on Spring 2022.

I mainly used Ryo Sakazaki and Rock Howard in KOF: Maximum Impact.

Also I do recall how much of a pain it tok me to beat the final boss especially if you tried beating him with Maxima.
