Most of this based but Putting Sword and shield on this list makes me lose faith in humanity.

Also Persona 5 being on there twice is cheating lol
What makes it funnier is that P5R is apparently ranked lower than base Persona 5. How does THAT happen?
poor P3 is at 100. Not that it matters to me because p3 isnt the persona game I got started on so Im pretty indifferent to the game

Probably because the base version is more widely known and sold better.

Disappointment-wise movies of this year for me are Army of the Dead, Eternals, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and Mortal Kombat (2021).

Spiral I wouldn't also say is amongst my worst. Just found it to be forgettable and shows there's nothing more you can do with the Saw franchise being time that it should be put to rest. Shang-Chi IMO also ranges in the lines between disappointing and ok. Red Notice ranges between forgettable to ok timewaster, overall probably a forgettable timewaster.

Tbh, I do wonder what different regions would say if asked on the greatest games of all time.

Like, if we were to ask America persay, I would bet that Mario, Zelda (aside from Skyward Sword), Minecraft, and some Pokemon games would still be there, but damn near every JRPG would be off the list aside from like Pokemon and Final Fantasy, and probably replaced my games like GTA and Elder Scrolls, and given the popularity and recency, Fortnite would probably crack top 25

On more positive note. Best movies this year for me has been Godzilla vs. Kong (Mostly bias especially being a hardcore kaiju and Godzilla fanboy because I admit I had many flaws with it but never still enjoy it), Nobody, The Suicide Squad, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog, Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, Malignant and Encanto.

Hilda and the Mountain King will likely rank up there as well.

Other movies I also really enjoyed this year but wouldn't be amongst the best which I just listed are Free Guy, Boss Level, Copshop, A Quiet Place Part II, Antlers, Willy's Wonderland, Wrath of Man, The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, Luca, Spider-Man: No Way Home (Granted with some issues), and Last Night in Soho.

For the most part I did enjoy No Time To Die but its ending is the only thing I didn't like. That said that, The Last Duel, F9 (Which I have to admit I'm kinda mixed on and starting to join those this franchise is starting to run its course), The Tomorrow War, and Those Who Wish Me Dead. The latter two which I thought were pretty good timewasters, especially The Tomorrow War, one of those turn-your-brain-off-and-enjoy-the-fun type of movies. All these being other movies I enjoyed as well.

Hilda and the Mountain King is definitely gonna end this year on a good note in terms of movies this year and that said looking much forward to next year in terms of movies. Jurassic World: Dominion, The Batman, Sonic 2, Doctor Strange 2, Top Gun: Maverick, The Black Phone, The Northman, Samaritan, and Black Adam.

Oh neat! The ¥5000 card I bought is enough to buy both Zoids Infinity Blast AND Yo-Kai Watch 4.
Since Yokai watch 4 is a JRPG with quiet a bit of text here's a TLDR of the first few chapters based on what i remember.

Chapter 1: After the events of the first 3 games Nathan is just trying to relax with Jybanyan and Whisper but it's a really hot day out so they cant focus on anything, Nathan's mom calls him to do some shopping so he takes this opportunity to get himself some Ice cream, while he's out he hears that Katie, the female player character from the first two games is out looking for him eventually he ends up back at the mountain from the first game which ends up with the gang getting isekaid to a city they dont recognize.

Chapter 2: They find out they are in the future, and the girl they meet, Summer, who also uses a yokai watch summerizes the events before they showed up, so you play as her during this section as she goes around town helping people with supernatural problems.

Chapter 3: The search for the games plot maguffins begins.

I’m down with the tone as long as it’s fun to play. And as long as I can actually play it.
That's cool, it's just for me personally, I'm not really into non-stop grit without any levity or sense of adventure. Most FF games balance both of those, but IDK, XVI looks like it's going in hard on grimdark grit, which just isn't my style, personally.

We'll see, though. It could be cool, it could not. We'll see.

Yeah. I can understand and even agree with that take. But like, it can’t be all that right? It’s gotta have its moments. They just aren’t gonna put them in the trailer, right?

So just had a freak accident in which I ripped open a carton of milk and spilled over my room. I'm all for non plastics....................................but **** milk cartons. Even worse if you leave it and the things just bloody bloats.

Finally a list I can agree on. And Ghost being there speaks volumes as to why it is so loved in Japan and there's a good few Western games as well. Still remember the one Famitsu made years ago and the only from US/UK was GTA: Vice City.

Might make a favourite list again or just post one.

Just came back from Spider-Man NWH.

IMO the best Spider-Man movie (Though I did not see Into the Spider-Verse) and possibly the best MCU movie. Seeing the old Spider-Men and their past villains and how they did nostalgia was so good, especially because that's such an easy thing to mess up which could have ruined the movie.

The modern Final Fantasies have to come to Xbox eventually. It’s beyond easy to port between consoles these days. And all they’re doing by not selling the games on the Xbox platform is loosing out on exposure and potential sales in the western market.

I could easily see 7RI being announced and released for the series X next year, either Quarter 1 or at E3. Even if I have to wait a year or more folk get them others, it’s better then having to buy a PS5.

The first one did $2.8B WW, that probably has something to do with it lol.
Yeah but now it has a reputation for not being well-remembered in spite of its massive commercial success.

Ironic that it's being remembered for not being remembered.
