Yeah, they have severe flaws. But they also got so much good **** they balance out.

I feel like BDSP and HGSS have literally the opposite issues.

BDSP didn't add all that much but fixed nearly all the core issues with D&P. HGSS added a lot but didn't fix the massive glaring issues with Johto like the janky ass level curve and barebones Kanto.

I saw PM trending and took a look out of curiosity.

Three tweets in and I saw someone whining about the fact they used paper puns in the trailer and nope'd right outta there.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind seeing a return to form, even with a twist to the core gameplay. That's actually why I enjoyed ToK so much.


As for Bug Fables, no comment except for I wish people actually played the game instead of using it to **** on ToK, like dude stop.

The worst thing about Heart Gold / Soul Silver is that I got Heart Gold some years back but lost it, now if I want to play it on DS I’d likely have to spend too much money based on what I’ve seen people say.

…and after doing a quick check, yup. lol charging up to 400 bucks smh the Pikachu GBA was cheaper than that.

I don’t agree with the angry toxic people (and I liked Origami King), and those indies seem cool and stuff, but I never really got this either; one reason people like Paper Mario is because, well, Mario.

The biggest issue with PM fans is that for some reason they take everything, and I mean everything personal. LIke, a mere sight of a toad turns them into feral animals. They literally got PM trending last month because they can't let go of the ****ing white outlines.

Like, can y'all chill on God. I hate this fanbase more than I hate Pokemon's and Smash's combined.

I've honestly believe Nintendo will NEVER go back to the original Paper Mario formula, no matter how much the player base complains.

TTYD will be 18 years old next year and we've gotten 4½ games since then (½ being Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam), none of which were what people were asking.

Another game I'd recommend that has the old gameplay formula (besides Bug Fables) is South Park: The Stick of Truth.

It's time for today's weekly Smash Bros/MTG crossover. Today's showcase is Meta Knight.
Here he is, ready to duel:

He has knight in his name, his costume, and his personality, so I made him a knight lord. Also, I made him benefit from choosing one specific opponent to duel, just like Kirby. After providing him with card advantage and a payoff (with the apparently obligatory for me hybrid colored activated abilities), I think I did well.

Although I quite liked this one, I don't think I'll enjoy the next two. In fact, I think that they're going to be the Pits.

I feel like he's just became a scapegoat at this point, not saying he's infalliable, but he tries his damdest to make PM work even under the tight restrictions of Mario.

Nobody asked him to make Sticker Star like that, true, but people paint him to be literally every ****ing thing wrong with Mario as a whole. Like... can we not do that? Basically the Masuda of PM.

And Miyamoto too, please drop the hate boner for him it has been nearly a decade since he was last involved with the franchise. Grow up.
