Honestly this looks more like a beta Landorus T then Giratina. I wonder if it led to that design in Gen 5.

for the tip. Was planning on using it next year for streaming, I had no idea.
Most of the time, not really, but a lot of placements tend to be based off when you first can obtain them in their home games. Some mons also have specific placements, with pseudo legendaries always being directly before the legendaries (excluding Dratini and Larvitar's lines) and Legendaries are always at the end, with mythicals following them. There are some exceptions of course.

This I can definitely agree on.
As soon as I got the Good Rod, I backtracked all the way to west Sinnoh just to get that Finneon, I was hell bent on using one in my team. Not at all worth it, but also no regrets.

This is giving me the idea to order Pokemon based off logic like this.
I hope that once we get more content from Dragon Ball Super they lean more into the idea that the epilogue of Z and some of GT's backstory implies where Goku actually spent time with Pan.

Honestly, irl, the Pokédex would probably be inconsistent all across the world. People on different continents would discover new Pokémon at different times. That, or it would be like how we base our time zones off of London time. The first people to start categorizing (or the region with the most international influence) would put their local creatures first.
Goku's biggest issue is that he's really confident in his kids, and that's not a bad trait, but against big bads, it's kinda an issue. He assumes all will go well, but he doesn't take into account if it didn't. That's what happened with Gohan and Cell, and that's what happened with Goten and Buu
