So I've been going through my enormous backlog of games and trying out some that I haven't played yet. The first one was Medal of Honor Frontlines. The first couple levels were pretty good, especially the first one which takes place on the beach battle on D-Day. God dam that was an intense fight.
The next one I tried out was Capcom Classics Collection Volume 2 which has 20 of their arcade games. Volume 1 has more of their well known games but Volume 2 has the advantage of being able to actually save your games. That's right, so if you want to beat Super Ghouls n Ghosts in Volume 1, you would have to beat it in one go. That would be fine for those who already mastered the game but if you haven't, oh boy you'll get burned out before you even achieve the halfway mark. Anyway, Volume 2 has some great gems in there. 1941, Strider, King of Dragons, etc. I'm a sucker for the arcade classics and there's plenty of vertical and side scrolling shooters, plus beat em ups to satisfy me. And the fact that you can unlock art and music for each game is a great reward for going through these tough as nails games. Or easy games if you are like me and choose the very easy setting + unlimited continues.
