Did you get the secret ending where Roxas makes his debut?
Yeah, that's a given since I beat it on Proud.

Edit: NVM, I was unaware there was an expanded version of the original secret ending. Guess I'll clear the Hades Cup and beat the final boss again.

Just started watching Evangelion for the first time. With it being such an influential anime I felt obligated to start watching it at some point in my life, and that day ended up being today.

I liked the first two episodes, and I'm interested to see where it goes.

I was this many years old when I realized that Ben Drowned wasn't just the spooky Majora's Mask videos

....and was STILL ongoing to this very day(I think).
I think Ben Drowned wrapped up last year, if I recall correctly. I remember tuning in for the finale debut around that time.

I've been thinking about playing the KH games, quick question: should i bother playing the DS games or should i watch the movie versions? I ask because I actually got one of them as a gift (Re;Coded) a long time ago, i figure if i'm actually going through the games i should play it (and then i buy 3566564/2)

Considering trying out the Kingdom Hearts series myself. Right I got a good deal on Kingdom Hearts III and waiting for Black Friday to see if the rest of the series be on sale on the Xbox store.

You ever randomly remember a show and go "That was a fun concept." then proceed to ignore it again?

I just had a moment like that earlier with Recreators.

358 days is actually hot garbage, watch the "movie" version for that, yes.

Recoded is actually a really fun game but in terms of the overall Kingdom hearts saga it's literally just a filler arc where nothing substantial happens, it's pretty self contained compared to most KH games. lol

Buzz in this movie looks like one of those old fanartist's """real-life""" interpretations of cartoon characters like Mario and Homer Simpson
I’ll take this over nearly every live action versions of other iconic Disney characters

“Of course you realize that they’ll pay for this.”
There was a problem fetching the tweet

The movie version of Re;coded is fine, I'd recommend you get 358 as the game itself is just plain good.

So I've been going through my enormous backlog of games and trying out some that I haven't played yet. The first one was Medal of Honor Frontlines. The first couple levels were pretty good, especially the first one which takes place on the beach battle on D-Day. God dam that was an intense fight.

The next one I tried out was Capcom Classics Collection Volume 2 which has 20 of their arcade games. Volume 1 has more of their well known games but Volume 2 has the advantage of being able to actually save your games. That's right, so if you want to beat Super Ghouls n Ghosts in Volume 1, you would have to beat it in one go. That would be fine for those who already mastered the game but if you haven't, oh boy you'll get burned out before you even achieve the halfway mark. Anyway, Volume 2 has some great gems in there. 1941, Strider, King of Dragons, etc. I'm a sucker for the arcade classics and there's plenty of vertical and side scrolling shooters, plus beat em ups to satisfy me. And the fact that you can unlock art and music for each game is a great reward for going through these tough as nails games. Or easy games if you are like me and choose the very easy setting + unlimited continues.

oh hey I can share my nuzlocke progress here

veggie.jpg

A while back I decided to start an UNPRECEDENTED series of nuzlockes that I call:

THE GENERATIONS BANLOCKE

Da rules:
  • You can only catch the first Pokémon on each route
  • You must nickname every Pokémon
  • If a Pokémon faints it's DEAD and that mofo goes in the Heaven box
  • (Optional) Hardcore Nuzlocke rules
    • No items in-battle
    • Set mode
    • No overleveling past the next Gym Leader's ace (for the Elite 4, no overleveling past the ace of the highest leveled Elite 4 member)
  • Species Clause: If I catch a Pokémon once, I can't catch a Pokémon of the same line
  • (NEW RULE)Champion Species Clause: If a Pokémon is on the Champion Team of one game, whether it survives to the end or not, that entire line is BANNED for all subsequent runs.
    • That means I can only use staple Pokémon once. If I want Gyarados for Ultra Sun I can't put it on my team in any game before that, or else I risk getting it banned.
  • I decided to go through the entire Pokémon series with this ruleset, counting two versions of the same game as one game. I've made it up to Generation 6, so I've gone through 12 runs so far. Here are the summaries for each of them:
The first run and the only deathless one as of yet.
Gen Ruby 1.png
MIMIEN is so dumb in Leafgreen. Dude has the perfect tools to set up on every pretty much every major fight in the game. Backed up by the defensive monster that's Slowbro this game never stood a chance.
Gen LG 2.png
Getting Skarmory was so big. Minun (or Plusle) are incredibly underrated. Neg set up for every sweep in the Elite 4 (Fenrir wiped Phoebe and it was epic).
Gen Emerald 3.png
When I decided to make the challenge actually mean something and take on every game in the series.
Gen Red 4.png
The level caps in this game are stupid. The cap for Falkner is Level 9 (before Geodude gets Rock Throw) and his bird Pokémon have Gust & Mud-Slap, which is essentially omni-coverage. The cap for Lance is 47, and he has his hacked Dragonites. This game still gets destroyed by Psuedo-BoltBeam Alakazam
Gen Crystal 5.png
HOLY **** THIS GAME IS STUPID. One of the most memorable moments in this run was in the Cynthia fight. It's her Garchomp vs. Michelle the Obamasnow. Garchomp has four moves:
  1. Dragon Rush, the second strongest physical dragon move & neutral on Obamasnow
  2. Giga Impact, the strongest physical normal move & neutral on Obamasnow
  3. Flamethrower, which is 4x super effective on Obamasnow and could destroy me
  4. Earthquake, which is not very effective on Obamasnow
She outspeeds me which is scary, but uses Earthquake. Literally game-throwing.

Otherwise Girafarig Agility/Baton Pass + Torterra Curse SLAPS
Gen Pearl 6.png
The bloodiest run with 12 deaths and 1 full team wipe. I got bodied by Volkner but decided to go back and body him and the rest of the game out of spite. Ambipom is a CRAZY underrated Pokémon in Platinum. Give this dude some HP, Defense, and Special Defense EVs and he can set up Porygon-Z or another special attacker to destroy tough fights. Porygon-Z swept Bertha, Lucian, and Cynthia without any difficulty.
Gen Platinum 7.png
When I got Ditto banned to get Metagross in Black 2 and then...didn't use it. Haha...
Gen HG 8.png
amogus
Gen White 9.png
When I realized I forgot to cover the third version of Gen 1 and the first version of Gen 2 so I went back
Gen Yellow 10.png
A.K.A. The Odyssey of Crackass
Gen Gold 11.png
A.K.A. All of my friends are dead the run because I lost pretty much all of my OG Team members before the E4 and then went balls to the walls vs the E4 and Iris.
Screen Shot 2021-10-26 at 11.22.42 PM.png
Now I'm going through Pokémon Y, which I should finish soon as I've essentially beaten most of the game. Here's the progress update:
3 badges is pretty much most of the game because from here it's a nearly straight gym rush :4pacman:
Gen Y 12.33.png

Real talk Lunatone is heavily based. The Lucario encounter is NOT the Gift one, and the chances of me getting both the Route 22 Riolu and the Flocessy Ranch Riolu together were .25%. Actually incredible luck to tear up both games.
All in all a fun series of runs with a lot of fun moments and Pokémon used. I'm saving a lot for Ultra Sun because it's to Rainbow Rocket and I need as many OP Pokémon as I can get (as of right now the Eevee, Rufflet, Larvitar, Bagon, Trapinch, Magikarp, and Honedge lines are all being saved solely for Ultra Sun). Because of that I've used a lot of underrated Pokémon so far and it's been nice. Most times in a nuzlocke you just use the same old lines, so having a run that forces you to use other Pokémon by creating an extended ban list (some hardcore runners ban only the most OP Pokémon) is really fun.

11/10 would recommend.
