Honestly, I think the "playable or bust" mindset kinda puts a damper on Smash's fun.

Like, a looooota characters did make it in! Maybe not as playable, but at least they're there, and some of them even got to be ATs that can fight alongside us!

Am I sad Waluigi got snubbed? I mean...Yeah, I am. But am I happy he's at least here in some form? Heck yeah, you better believe I love every time I get him outta that AT summon item.

Honestly? While I wish he was playable, I'm just glad Isaac's demand was enough to make Sakurai bring back his AT. It helps that his new design is the best he's ever looked, and the fact him and Geno have Mii costumes means I can at least pretend to play as them both.

I just wish we got some sort of Ace Attorney representation and that Incineroar got sent to the shadowrealm and replaced by Decidueye

Seeing It next to the Metroid Dread Special Edition gets me really hyped.

That's awesome. Consider me a bit jelly, especially with that Metroid Dread SE. I wasn't able to get one for myself or the amiibos, unfortunately.

I kinda feel ya with the amiibo as Nintendo suddenly decided to delay them in Europe and right now the place where I preordered them doesn't know when they arrived.

And imo, the Alex Kidd remake is great for any fan of the classic games. It shows that the devs were really passionate about the classic titles and recently they added a patch which gives a lot of dope QoL improvements such as a level select or an option to help newer players control Alex easier.
Worth It for big SEGA fans.

If you get the spirits during the event, they're immediately added to the rotation. I assume you had the new Samus spirit, at least.

For me particularly, I don't want expansion passes for Metroid, I missed having new releases of AAA games that we only need to buy once to get a complete game, and Dread doesn't even need to be expanded as far as I can tell. Also, not everything needs to have multiplayer, 2D Metroid definitely doesn't. Those are my 2 cents on the whole idea.
