Oh hey they posted after the reveal that Sakura Wars 5's Shinji is also going to be playable in Super Robot Wars 30

Sakura Wars 5 feels like the one game in the series that never gets attention, so this is pretty cool to see.

Pretty dumb how its the last free update and were still missing so much!
Remember the amiibo update for new leaf that were better times sadly i didnt own the game!

I think this is the First animal Crossing without a third shop upgrade or non mario nintendo stuff in the game!

The NSO expansion is 50 bucks?!
**** that, I have the first Paper Mario game on Wii U and can emulate Banjo-Kazooie just fine if I want to. Not like the rest of the N64's library is that enticing other than two Zelda games i have already played on 3DS.

N64 Online includes Sin & Punishment, and this price is a sin that must be punished.

Well, I admit, Animal Crossing got some nice changes there, especially making your neighbours finally visiting you again. Too bad it doesn't realy address some of my biggest issues with the game, namely not giving special visitors their own shop on the island, despite the big focus on island building. Instead they're now once again stuck in a single place, like the town, except you always have to first visit the airport to go there, making it such a hassle. Second issue is the inability to fully expand the side rooms in your house, being stuck with a 6x6 grid size. It's just baffling because that wasn't the case in older games. Everything else was pretty nice.

But 50€ for the expanded NSO?

At least we are getting the welcome amiibo updates and more for free. That covers most of the bases. While unlikely, we could still see the other Nintendo furniture, but outside of it and the shop upgrade, there isn’t much missing that I can think of.

Two things.

1. Today I learned that people really keep their cats on a leash

2. £35/$60 is fine for NSO expansion....................................if it included GBA/Game Boy and maybe like Game Gear or Neo Geo Pocket on top of it.

I might hop into it for a month just to go through Sin and Punishment, Mario Tennis, Banjo-Kazooie, Pokemon Snap and Paper Mario but until of them out, nope.
Like the **** Nintendo?

Normally if I can't afford to enjoy something I just don't. I can find other ways to entertain myself.

But I can't deny that oftentimes pirating issues companies face are self-inflicted.
Then they ***** and take down the sites who then go somewhere else.

Then companies in five years release them for a new console but at a higher price.

Then the cycle repeats.

I just bought all the Kingdom Hearts games on Xbox One. Except mom, which I bought on switch which I played for a bit out of order to ensure I got that song. Gonna dive into the games as soon as they all finish downloading.

Okay so when the new update for Animal Crossing drops I may just stay in my house and when random visitors arrive I say "come get your food, dear" and everyone just gathers in my kitchen

I'm going to be that one black grandmother who instantly starts feeding you as soon as they see you

I haven't been following the Animal Crossing Direct, but the family plan for the NSO Expansion Pack is unusually high. ($80 US is $100 Canadian, and even though I split the cost with my brother, we both agree that each of us spending $50 a year on this with the only difference being Nintendo 64 and Genesis games, many of which are single-player only, is WAY too much, considering what little we're getting as a result)

This brings me back to my main problem with the Nintendo Switch Online apps - what's the problem with allowing us to actually buy the games? Being able to play Super Metroid or Donkey Kong Country 2 on the Switch with save states and rewinding is nice, but it would be even better if I didn't have to be connected to the internet in order to play a single player game. I'd gladly pay $8 for Super Metroid, or $10 for Banjo-Kazooie. (even if it was a few dollars more expensive than other N64 games because of Microsoft, I'd still be willing to pay it)

I assume the current set-up is a much better deal for developers - I'm assuming that they're paid a percentage of the subscription fees, whereas if the games were available individually, whoever published Bombuzal or Jelly Boy likely wouldn't get much if anything in terms of sales. However, it seems like a really bad deal for consumers, given that retro games were handled much, much better on the past two console generations.

It seems absurd to pay $100 a year for this when all you get out of it are N64 games where roughly half of them don't even have multiplayer (making the online functionality worthless), and Sega Genesis games where most if not all of them are available on the Switch in other forms. (between the Sega Ages re-releases, the Sega Genesis Collection, and (in the case of Strider) the Capcom arcade collection)

Maybe if they add some megaton releases like Goldeneye (I know that's never happening) or Perfect Dark, or add other systems like Game Boy Advance and Gamecube, it would be worth that price, but if the NES and SNES Online line-ups are any indication, I'm guessing that the quality of the releases is going to drop rapidly beyond the first few months with a handful of exceptions. (why it took such a long time for them to re-release the Donkey Kong Country games is beyond me - even weirder is why we still don't have any Earthbound games)

I mean, I plan to with my cat once he's little older.

It will help his physical health and get him some fresh air.
How old is he? It's usually best to introduce leashes to your cat as a kitten.

Believe me, I tried putting one on my cats and neither of us had a good time with it. It's a good thing they can roam around on their own.

Somebody educate a dumb person: Why Nintendo charging from $20-$50 a year is terrible when Xbox online services range from $60-$180 a year and I don't see anyone complain about that?

Not to mention earlier this year Microsoft tried to double the price of regular Gold before being called out.

Microsoft has servers stronger than a potato.

They should anyway, their specialty is computers.

Because Nintendo fans are quite quick to anger sometimes. Like when Byleth was confirmed.

From what I see? It's usually the games.

That being said I wish it'd stop the greediness and just chill on these prices man.

1. I like many of us would happily pay to have some of these not connected for like a few quid extra. Super Mario World, Kirby's Dream Course, F-Zero, Banjo-Kazooie would be great to have.

2. Your opinion for it being a better deal for developers does make sense but it is a **** move. I hate just hate the feeling these of more and more has to be connected to the internet.

3. The idea of more systems is why I'm thinking any future is connected to that Expansion Pack only. It would make sense from a business perspective. And a **** you to the consumers. Remember when they made SNES games New Nintendo 3DS only for some reason?

Looks like I'm not playing Banjo, Noipoi Noipoi
Noooooooooooooooooooo.

Then I'll play it for you when I get it. /s.
