Also we aren’t getting Fredirator characters. Fredirator despises Nick. Nick under sold a lot of their shows, getting them cancelled, they burned FOP to the ground, Refused to choose Adventure time when Fredirator said they should, etc.

There’s so much bad blood with them, that when they had no reps In base game, it was obvious why.

Why would Nick even need to go back to them at all though? Don’t they own the rights in their entirety? And again, they’re in that mobile game.

That is not how that works. Like at all. I studied this in college (I don’t know if you have too but I feel like I can claim some sort of authority) but unless the show was an adaptation of a previously established book or movie, when a company buys a show they buy everything about it lock stock and barrel. They generally have to credit the original creators and pay them. But they don’t have to seek prior permission and the original creators can’t stop them from doing anything with the show they now own.

I feel like, considering the dev's track record of denying stuff, it's 100% a list of DLC. Like, "covering our bases" feels kinda... way too convenient because these bases are way too specific. If you were to cover your bases, you'd have a lot more characters here than what conveniently feels like a wave of DLC.
