Damn. This is probably it. I know I haven't been around much for the better part of around, uh... two years, but I am rather sad that it could all be over in just a couple hours. I've made a lot of friends over the 3 three years I've been on this website, many of whom have already gone, and some who may still. I'll most likely be sticking around, posting once every millennium, as usual. And if you are thinking of leaving, I just wanna say thank you for being great, and I hope to see you again, whenever that may be.

...Or they're gonna announce a third Fighter Pass this Direct and everybody will be stuck here till the inevitable entropic exhaustion of the universe.

Also if it is going to be the end of smash today, it’s been a wild ride! I’ve been on the site since they revealed Rosalina in Smash 4, but I was lurking a bit before that. Mainly because I would google everyday smash 4 leaks and rumors and end up on the original leaks and rumors thread by BluePikmin.

Which is eventually where I wound up hanging around most here. Until eventually things went down and the thread turned into the original social thread before the many revamps it’s gone through since. It’s been pretty fun all the way through. The smash leaks thread says had some many great users and inside jokes they it felt like a real community. A shame a lot of the people from it don’t really come here anymore or at least not in the social threads.

Still all the new users through Smash Ultimate have really made this section of the forum fun and lively again. Weather it be the voice actors, artists, or just genuine kind hearted users here, it’s been a blast getting to speculate through all of this! So thank you to everyone here!

I’ll probably still stick around, especially since we aren’t getting the drop of the character today, so we have a really fun presentation for the last fighter to still look forward to watching together. I hope to see a lot of you stick around after. If you don’t, then I wish you all the best in your lives!

Alright I hear things are leaking, so i’m gonna dip so I don’t get spoiled. But before I do…

In just a few hours, this could be over. Smash speculation could be over. Yeah there’s a chance they drag it out more, but I think this may be it. After three years of dreaming, theorizing, arguing, obsessing, hoping, wishing…it’s all coming to an end.

It’s been quite a journey, huh? I mean, three years is quite the long time. We’ve all changed a lot since this whole thing started. To commemorate this journey, I whipped a little something up using the main cast of what is probably my magnum opus.

I’ve been through some stuff, man. Stuff most people can’t comprehend, stuff that may sound horrific. And while I’m doing way better now, the peak of this was probably around 2018. Coincidentally, that was around the time I joined an odd little community dedicated to a Nintendo crossover game. In the time since I’ve met a ton of people with crazy quirks, real talent, **** taste (just kidding) (not really) but most of all, I’ve made real friends. Sure most of you are halfway across the country, or the world. But we’re still friends, aren’t we? You weirdos got me through the worst time in my life with your dumb memes and genuine enthusiasm for gaming, and other things too. And I can’t thank you enough for that.

After three years, filled with some of the craziest characters smash has ever seen, it’s finally to an end. I know a lot of people will take their leave after this, and that’s okay. Do what’s right for you. I can’t promise I’ll be here for another several years. But what’s important is the time we spent together.

From boxes to grinches to Nintendo themselves leaking Terry. From verge to Shinobi and who knows how many other insiders. From Inkling to K Rool to Banjo to ****in Minecraft Steve to Sans Mii Costume. It’s been nuts, and I enjoyed every minute of it…almost every minute…alright a lot of it was stupid. But the good times were great!

Anyway, this has been long winded. But the point is exactly what it says in the picture. Thanks for the laughs, the memes, the art, the crazy speculation, and for being my friends. Thank you!

I've now grown fond of a lot of you guys and you know what? I hope the end of Smash Speculation isn't the end of a lot of friendships but rather the beginning of them as we grow to know to each other beyond here. I want some of our friendships sincerely and wholeheartedly grow for years to come and this is why underneath I'm worried. For some of us, there might not be another community where we get it right again so I hope for beyond.

So for now I'm gonna tage a few members now and leave some to later such as my closest, closest friends to my thankfulness. Those who I always pass by in the corridor and always wanted to show my thankfulness too or again before I forget.

Ramen Tengoku - Dude, you are one of the friendliest mods I've ever met and I hope we continue this. I'm glad to know you............Head Chef. Or is it Ghost Chef now?

Dyllybirdy - As the only other common member here from the island I'm proud to grow up in, your presence has always been nice. Let's hope I don't invade your town accidently during a bike and train journey down south. Here's to us being friends for a long time.

ZephyrZ - Although indirectly you were one of the first people I felt comfortable being around here and well your class.

Hat N' Clogs - We did get off in the wrong foot a few times because of beliefs but I owe you for something personal. Without our talks I think I would have been the same in views to things like religion. Helped me remember that there are really some good people like you who believe in God again on a personal level.

osby - A man of great taste and through JD, I've seen you as a friend. Hopefully post forum we can continue this. Plus you always have something really cool to say and your background of being from one of the most interesting places in the world has interested me. I hope if I ever do a cross continent journey I'd run into you there.

Kirby Dragons - As one of the others who use Wade's Art Server like myself, I have always enjoyed reading your script and looking at your works. Really hope you made it in that front.

You six I just wanted say somethings about. The rest and I mean about 10 people will be saved for later.
