The first shiny Pokémon I ever caught outside Gyarados in HGSS was a Rattata.

Now that's what I'd call a top percentage Rattata.

I'm more just curious why Geno of all Mario RPG characters got the cult following. I ain't throwin' shade, it's just...

I see no same level of love or outcry for any other character from Mario RPGs. Heck, Paper Mario fans have been vocal as heck for the last decade yet in Smash bubble almost no one cares about it. It's all SMRPG and Geno. Heck, hardly anyone cares about Mallow either, just Geno.

It's weird.

It's weird because I used to have the same view of Geno but then the leaks and the box theory happened and I was team "god ANYTHING but Incineroar" so I started hoping Geno would get in to cuck Incineroar and on the way got unironically attached to him. And well, we all know what happened in the end.
I recently started playing Super Mario RPG for the first time for Geno though

Sorry if this comes off as rude, but please tell me that ya'll don't unironically think that Layton is an useless character as that person I talked about does.

I think the Layton games are not for me but I don't really have anything against Layton in Smash, I'd just vastly prefer Phoenix.

The lack of it or Rogueport Sewers remix is absolutely criminal.

I remember being so hyped for that Paper Mario stage, only for it to be a generic Sticker Star location, a part of TTYD that only lasted for 3 minutes, and the ****tiest final dungeon in RPG history.

And then the sole PM song was a medley of 2 songs that weren't even Paper Mario originals and like 1/4 of Rougeport.


Biggest missed opportunity.

Maintenance has bamboozled us too many times for me to fully say "IT'S HAPPENING" over this.

But when you take into account Nintendo does Directs in mid-September like, every year during Switch's lifespan, and the following week is out because of TGS.

Yeah, it's probably happening.

It could still not, but I'd say it's looking more likely with each passing day.

After the last Metroid Dread trailer idk if I am as confident as I used to be on a September Direct.

Mostly because a big Dread overview trailer seems like the kind of thing they would save for a Direct, as they did with DQXI S back then.
But idk, maybe they fill that spot with something else.

BTW I'm totally addicted to Shiny hunting in Lets Go Eevee. I've never felt so good about shiny hunting before. Just got a Shiny Ponyta, and she's a beaut'.

Shiny hunting was so good in let’s go since you could see them in the overworked. I wish Sword and Shield did that.Maybe the shinnoh underground will do it instead since it’s a smaller amount of Pokémon.

Nah, they market games on their own after reveal and use Directs to remind people to buy. They only save overviews if it was a game announced as a teaser before, like Splatoon 3 or BotW 2.

Dread's pretty much been fully marketed at this point, they'll probably drop a few more things for it, but there's no need to save anything for it in a Direct other than the usual 'Remember to buy this!" they usually do.

Not really sure how to word this, but It does feel kinda sad to be surrounded by people online who really are in favour of people taking breaks while right now I live with a family who literally wishes the worst on me and is constantly denigrating me emotionally over trying to take time for myself when I need It most.

Idk, It makes me genuiely wish I could literally live with anybody here instead of these ungrateful people I got for a family.

There is a 99% chance I may have to record my audio on a phone in a car, 'cause work situation is complicated this week and I can't take Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday off (time off blackout this week).

Man, Alpha Metroid are just not fun to fight in AM2R, at least on Hard Mode.

Really hate enemy whose way of attacking is fusing their hitbox with the player character by just...moving toard them and not much else, just feel cheap to me.

He's a TTYD loyalist, (TBH I am too) but he's an advocate for calm discussion and one of the few sane heads. He's just as tired of the toxicity as anyone else.

IMO he's one of the better voices to have heard in the PM community.

Only gripe I have with TOK is that they need to stop forcing turn based battle systems if they don't want to have it be an RPG anymore, and lessen character design limitations. The writing is finally where it needs to be again, we just need aesthetic changes and for them to commit to a gameplay style and not be so back and forth about it.

I kinda saw a video on that as it does bleed into the 3D games, see how Odyssey and Boomser's Angery have timed platforming challenges and **** but it's all bland without any fitting textures for the area. I think the video was called "Nintendo's obsession with gameplay and why it sucks" or something, despite the title it's good ****
