Mr. Krabs was in the navy and has been showed to know how to fight plenty of times.

Plus, Squidward's been in Nicktoons fighting games before via their flash outings. Not to mention he's been in Spongebob games as a playable character on consoles, too.

Plus...Look at Smash's roster. If you strong-armed inclusions based off of "combat potential", you'd have to say goodbye to characters like :ultmiifighters::ultvillager::ultvillagerf::ultisabelle::ultsteve::ultalex::ultrob::ultgnw: and plenty of fan favorite requests would be barred entry as well.

Ok. Yeah. But smash has a whopping EIGHTY TWO characters plus echo fighters. There’s room for goofier stuff like that because there’s more space. This game is probably gonna have thirty characters post dlc if we’re lucky. I’m gonna be protective of who gets in and who doesn’t because I’ve been gunning for a Nicktoons fighting game for YEARS

Don’t tell me you wouldn’t be disappointed if Smash had only like 20 characters and almost half of them were weird random Mario characters. I already have to put up with this in the Injustice series with Batman. I don’t want to have to deal with it here.

Melee's roster was about that size and had :mariomelee::drmario::luigimelee::bowsermelee::peachmelee::yoshimelee:, and I was honestly fine with it and still am.

Heck, Wario would have been in if it weren't for time constraints.

But I'm with Shroob Shroob , let's just agree to disagree. :drshrug:

I think it would most likely end up like in Melee, where Mario made up like 7 characters out of the 25 characters.

I mean though, is it not logical for a company to put their best foot forward?


Ultimate's got 8 Mario characters, even more if you absorb the DK Crew, Wario, and Yoshi into the mix.


Pokemon has 8, 11 if you count Trainer's 3 as seperate.


Like, it just makes sense since one's the 'face' of the company, ya know? If Disney got a fighter, would it really be a surprise if Mickey and co took up a huge majority of the roster while the other movie characters got like 1-3 reps each?

Like how in Kingdom Hearts the only Disney characters that contribute anything to the main plot are the Mickey crew.

Patrick literally helped Spongebob get the secret formula and went across multiple Nicktoon universes with him 3 times to save the day

Honestly Season 4 is fine. It was around later 5 and 6 stuff started going downhill.

I've heard the latest stuff is really good, though. Like, it seems the show's legit made a comeback and is doing alright for itself now.

Animation YT still hates it but they hate everything lol.

I literally didn’t even remember that lmao. Regardless they act and speak very similarly but have different ideals. Something the Masters story highlights well when they did the Lysander event. I still think other parts of the game make sense with that theory.

It would certainly explain-why Dexio and Sina were dressing as super heroes for no reason.
