accurate tweet or nah?
No.

1. I love Steven Universe, but I'm not gonna lie and say it's perfect. It has pacing problems, a filler problem, hellish hiatuses, and a few other issues. Those are the criticisms I see brought up, not the LGBT representation. Throwing away any criticism of a show as homophobia is immature.

2. I don't even think those shows are the four with the most criticism (Steven Universe aside). I barely hear Korra criticism that goes beyond "it's good but not as good as TLA", and I hear basically nothing for the other two. I do remember seeing a lot of criticism for Star VS when that was wrapping up, and shows like Spongebob and the Simpsons are a fountain of criticism.

It really is kinda funny how all these subpar shows have that in common.
It has nothing to do with the relationships themselves but rather the quality of the shows themselves.

I'll be fair and say ive never seen the Owl House, dont really have an interest in it either so i cant really lump it in with the other three.
From what ive been told the criticism with the relationship isnt that it exists but more so that it feels extremely rushed.

On an unrelated note i always get "Owl house" and "Loud house" confused when either show comes up lol

One of these days you’re gonna learn some patience even if I have to beat you over the head with it :239:
I don’t know. I think I’ve been exceptionally patient. But even before the pandemic smash characters came much slower then the characters in basically every other fighting game I’ve followed and played. I agree I need to be more patient. But he could also afford to hurry up a bit.

It takes longer because of the wacky gimmicks and occasional cinematic stage backdrops.

I can't speak for She-ra, but I don't think most of the criticism towards any of these shows has anything to do with representation. The Owl House hasn't even been criticized to the extent of the other three, unless you count the moral guardians (who basically gave up on whining about the show midway into it's first season anyway).

It feels like this person is either exaggerating what's now a minor problem, or is trying to declare anyone who dislikes or criticizes any of their favorite shows a homophobe as a defense.

Representation is good, but you can't just use it as a fallback for any writing flaws a show might have.

Snake, come on.

You should by now I just like messing with you. It’s like a virtual noogie from your virtual big bro.

Ignore the fact that I’m younger than you

Some user here made a passing comment years ago that they'd totally see me become a Yoshi Vtuber. I wonder if they still think that after all this **** :yoshi:

Can't wait to try my hand at his complex moveset by taking advantage of using situational normals to create- who am I kidding, I'm just going to spam his special moves.
Lol. Yeah. Properly playing Kazuya is gonna take a bigger brain then an RPG. But I feel like I’ve played enough Tekken before that I’ll have a pretty good handle on him.

That they are all cartoons?
...holy **** you're right
When has Owl House been criticized to the extent of the other three?

Well in my case I have many different problems with Korra that have nothing to do with that representation
I've been curious on TOH part myself, since I haven't stalked their side of Twitter enough
I just don’t like Korea cuz I don’t like Korra. Nothin to do with that element.

And SU…god I love it. But god does it get on my nerves…
I know you meant Korra twice...but I like the idea of Korra being the reason you hate all of Korea
No.

I've seen lots of Korra hate (both the character and the show), though I've still seen more positive reception overall to bury as much of that hate as possible

only thing I didn't like about Korra was the main plot of Book 2, for She-Ra...not exploring all the characters enough to let us know what and/or who they fully are, and Owl House...watch it or the Makoto gets the ghost story

a consequence for representation being forced by others? Q-Force. We need less of that and more natural things please world

They don't really hit ya til the 2nd dose.

Then they hit ya.
Can confirm this, first dose went well.

Second one made me stuck in my bed this morning and vomit too.

First shot for me made my arm feel funny all day, no big deal.
Second made me break out into a mighty uncomfortable sweat in the middle of the night, it felt like I was both baking and freezing to death.
