Dude, Dark Pit is Pit's edgy side.

Him being dark is like saying hell instead of heck.
only Hades can say hell (in English at least), so I guess he's the edgiest despite being dead. Thinking about it now, it's kinds funny how Pit/Pittoo think Spanish music is super edgy to them
if not that then I would like to assume Noipoi Noipoi referenced his historical DYM song...or something from Your Favorite Martian

He did beat Goku though.

Not even Vegeta can say that
Didn't Vegeta almost killed Goku in their first fight tho?

Like if Krilin, Gohan & Yajirobe weren't here, the dude be ded, right here and there.

"Ah, but you see..."

"I have only used 5% of my racist powers"
Well, it was sure written terribly anyway. At least it's not random racism even then. He only hates Saiyans cause of a legendary one that one will rise up to dwarf him in power. He doesn't know who, so can't chance it. It's a ****ty excuse, regardless, but the fact it isn't random and makes sense in context(since he knows Saiyans alone can constantly gain power anyway, meaning his fears aren't without merit), they went with it.

It's really dumb anyway cause it caused pointless destruction and Broly, the real legend, didn't even show up in canon till well after the original DBZ manga was done. Meaning it couldn't be more poorly done if they tried. He's no less a Complete Monster, and they tried to write around "why" he's such a ****. It didn't work. Only credit to give is he's entertaining as hell and significantly better as a Villain than Frost in the anime. I'm aware Frost isn't nearly as evil in the Manga, for better or worse.

I still like Cell better anyway. Despite the timey-wimey ball, he's way better written and it takes a lot for him to actually break. His fatal flaw of pride is played up way better as he gives off a very well-written faux respect towards others. It isn't even revealed it's just a fake way of acknowledging someone with reasonable strength till the very end, and it took someone who is Super Saiyan II as is, a very huge step in power, to cause that. Also, being a combination of parts from various others, including Saiyans who are known for pride, it makes a lot of sense he's like that. They justified it better. He's also entertaining as hell, and not really a dirty fighter once he's at full power. Until he breaks down at the very end, anyway. But at that point, he's rather desperate to stay alive, so that's rather expected out of anyone. Considering where his DNA comes from, that's actually a properly written point towards him. Even if any of the respect is real(which it's implied it's not, just a personality to make people think he's trying to run a fair tournament at first), he pretty much dropped it by the end anyway.

It's part of why I love DBZ. Rather different villains even if Pride is often one of their core factors(if not kind of a big deal for most characters to begin with). Another thing I like is that Cell(might be both anime and dub only) outright is willing to explain why someone is so foolish. Trunks being dumb by rasining his power level well beyond it... but forgetting that speed is just as important. Even Vegeta got that. Power is nothing if you can't hit. It could also be a somewhat knock to how there's way more powering-up than real fighting, showing that brawn alone isn't what matters. Cell remembers that brains are important too. I mean, Bulma's own actiosn nearly got him stopped from gaining real power, and boy was he angry about it. Sure, Krillin chose otherwise, but being a smart villain is what makes the show fairly good anyway. It still has other issues(it took forever for there to be proper female saiyans, yeish), but the villains can often be well-written. Frieza is... kind of, as I noted above. His hatred against Saiyans is done poorly, but that's honestly the only thing I consider poorly written about him. Otherwise? He's an effective asshole who has a shred of honor(as shown in Super) and does remotely care about his universe. Not enough that it's a legit redeeming quality, but moreso that he's an actual deep character, and not just an entertaining villain with mostly shallow stuff.

They? There is a Smashboards Discord, yeah. I forgot the link to it though.

And thank you. I had a friend recolor an image to further match the design intended.

I just came back from a panic attack. But I still feel jittery v
Hope you feel better soon.

...And apparently I can't actually write a thoughtful post without being treated like dog****. Excuse me if this is why I've been tempted to leave the forum forever. I don't tolerate that. I don't see any legitimate reason why I was ever replied to like that. Yes, one person was ****posting. And they responded reasonably to say effectively say "eh, really don't care that much about the subject" and that's it. Whereas suddenly I'm mocked for having a non-****post? The hell?

Grow up, people. Cause I'm sure as hell done with this thread. I thought it had gotten better, but I was wrong. Clearly you can't actually have a decent conversation anymore. Good riddance.

We cant. but that is why I usually check it. to see and sow discourse.
that and I am a massive contrarian.

for DBZ, I stopped paying attention to it around Super starting. I just grew out of it personally. Will say DBFighterz is good. and I love SS4 design. much better then what Super ever came up with.

Long ago in a distant message board...I, Ramen Tengoku Ramen Tengoku , ****post banning mod of Smashboards. Unleashed an unspeakable infraction! But a foolish Noivern/Poipole warrior wielding a magic ****post stepped forth to oppose me...

Before the final meme was posted, I relinquished a mighty ban. And flung him away from this thread, where my word is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the thread, and undo the moderation that is RAMEN...
