What's interesting that despite 38 franchises represented via characters, only 4 have more than 3 characters. In fact, only 16 of them have at least two characters, 22 of them only have 1.
Now, if we're excluding legacy characters (characters that don't really have another feasible rep) and new franchise DLC, the franchises with 1 character are:
Metal Gear, Sonic, Pikmin, Mega Man, Yoshi, F-Zero, Wario, Pac-Man, Splatoon, Bayonetta, and Punch Out

Aren't there five with more than 3? Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and Metroid.

Bayonetta= Jeanne as an echo fighter

: 8 total fighters (I prefer counting PT as 1 character)
: 6 total fighter (3 cause 3 Links, 2 Zeldas, and only 1G)
: 4 total fighters

: 2 (tho I guess someone could treat Mythra as a solo act...but not me)

and then the rest of the bad batch do indeed currently have only 1 playable character per franchise...for the most part you’re right

I'm slighly confused over why you gave him Deathtouch(the flavor of deathtouch is more poison-themed than raw strength), but otherwise I feel this one is overall pretty good.

I bought a copy of Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time on amazon like... a year ago. And big surprise, it doesn't work in either my PS2 or my PS3. It just keeps freezing on the loading screen before the first level in both systems. And since I waited so long to play it before even testing it, I can't get a refund. I'll take it to a local used game store and see if they can help me at all. God damn.

I wanted something to demonstrate how Donkey Kong's recovery could be exploited, so I gave his opponents deathtouch. I guess I felt like he would be underpowered if his opponents had deathtouch and he didn't unless he was like Hunted Nightmare and had higher than usual stats. I really like symmetry, so I decided to give him deathtouch as well but upon reflection, I probably should have given DK either Ward or maybe a fight ability.

tho it is funny how out of those 5 franchises, Zelda and Fire Emblem could both be considered to have the least variety in characters (FE cause of the amount of Marth type fighters there are...only a mere 4 Internet...and Zelda since multiple Links and Zelda)

See the problem with anime artstyles is that you can't tell anybody's age. Age is irrelevant in this artstyle.

Pokemon should accept that their target demographic is older and make games tailored to that demographic. Pokemon has a massive adult following Nintendo/Game Freak should capitalize on it. Digimon did.

If Pokemon's target demographic was actually older, SwSh aka Scourge of the Old Fans wouldn't see this well.

I can see more Pokken like spin-offs that appeal to adult fans but mainline Pokemon is wildly popular among children so there's no reason to risk that. Also... why would Nintendo try and imitate a franchise a lot less successful than Pokemon?

I'm still eager to see the following films in which I may have to consider whether I want to get to watch them through premier access:

• Black Widow

• Jungle Cruise

Although it had been confirmed that Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Free Guy will have a 45 day exclusive release in theaters before it heads on to Disney+, I'm currently debating whether I should go to watch Shang Chi when it hits cinemas this September even though I should have my second vaccine dose probably within August.
