I found the rampage movie to be a fun summer turn off your brain and just watch the pretty pictures movie. The plot made no sense. the characters and overall structure made no sense. The rock is not a scientist. But if you ignore all the logic, it was fun to see the three monsters appear and destroy the city. I did not like how George was the good guy and Ralph and Lizzy were bad guys. But overall it was a fun movie. 6/10.

So Lamperouge Lamperouge finished Cowboy Bebop.

All in all it was pretty damn well done. Music and visuals were perfect. Some episodes were amazing like 16-20, the finale and even the weakest episodes were great. Do love the characters but I don't know how to put it, it's like they all feel bit disconnected with each other. That and how Faye and Jet's final scenes ended abruptly are the only major issues I have with the show.

Gonna place it probably 8th on my favourite anime of all time below the likes of Spice and Wolf and The Devil is a Part Timer but higher than stuff like Fate/Apocrypha and Zombieland Saga. Part of the so close yet so far to my Category 1 quintet. Still glad to have gotten my ass to watch it.

Now what to watch next. What to watch next?

Lizzie's design was IMO one of the highlights of the film for me. The build-up to it was so splendid.

Helps too crocodiles are my favorite animals.

I feel really bored right now ngl.
it do be that monday mood.
Study a foreign language; why not. It's a potentially useful hobby and will help work your brain.

Example: I'm back into studying Spanish and this time I'll make sure I find a way to use it regularly. It's a gorgeous language and I wanna finally become proficient in it after having multiple attempts but never getting anywhere.

I just finished an anime, done all the cleaning I needed to do today.

Need to keep that momentum going without you know...............being lazy is the hardest.

Have you seen the Cowboy Bebop Movie?
I looked into it and it takes place in the anime. I would have been wanting to watch it had been a prequel or a sequel but if like a filler episode not really into that.

Hearing people describe my native tongue as a beautiful language makes me laugh when most people round here swear up a storm in spanish.

What country or region are you from?

The specific dialect I want to focus on the most is Colombian, but Mexican will do as well.
Castillian is gorgeous, and I studied that for a while a few years ago, but there were too many extra rules for my liking.

I live in the carribean.
Oh, alrighty.
Either way, I'd like to use this language as much as I can. While I'm not in a country where Spanish is the official language, I'm sure I can still find use for it since it's one of the top 4 spoken languages in the world, along with Mandarin, Hindi, and of course: English. I just need to look in the right places to use it.

Not quite sure I understand what you mean by the cast feeling "disconnected" as I feel like their personalities bounced off each other quite well, but yeah,
Faye and Jet have a somewhat abrupt ending to their arcs but I think it hits hard how they both came to realize how much the gang was like a family to them and how empty the Bebop became without Ed, Ein, and Spike being there.

As for an anime recommendation, you could try out Casshern Sins. The pacing is a little sluggish at times and general tone is on the depressing side, but it depicts a pretty interesting post apocalyptic world where the remnants of humanity try to make the best out of the time they have left since a plague caused by the protagonist is slowly killing them.

Also Gurren Lagann, because yes.

OK. Mitchells vs. Machines, I get it. This is just the kind of movie you are. But jokes about people literally not functioning without wifi are never funny.
Boomer-tier jokes about people not functioning without the latest technology started with Socrates complaining about people writing all the time and losing the ability to remember things, and have only become less original since then.

I've read that The Mitchell's vs. Machines is supposed to be surprisingly good given the producers of Into the Spider-Verse was involved.

Into the Spider-Verse speaking of which I intend to give another watch at some point. Perhaps re-watching it, my opinion might change from last time.

I thought it was pretty good. Not Spiderverse good, but very enjoyable. Some scenes are a little cringe, but others are unironically hilarious. And it’s very heartfelt.

Despite Robot wars not having an english dub i can clearly hear the dub voices of the Bebop cast in my head while i read their dialogue when they talk, those voices are pretty memorable.

Yeah the personalities bounced off but maybe I wished for more between them. Also the send off of Ein and Ed was nothing short of amazing and perfectly placed before the bloody finale. Would have liked to see their adventures continue.

As for next anime to watch I'm unsure. I'll like list 10 here soon to see about it. Two I really have in mind but considering I've watched Re:Creators and now Cowboy Bebop might go for something a bit more slice of life. Throw in action or even something like horror but not sure.
