For some ungodly reason I will never understand, the music he made for the 2008 Blue Sky Studios film Horton Hears a Who is amazing. The movie isn’t good, but the music is.

As someone who has an elemental race (still trying to figure out the whole magical system). I've just went with six:

Light
Shadow
Fire
Water
Wind
Earth

I've put Electric into another race's magic to help. Plus you can combine some if you are clever.

I personally am fond of how Wizard101 does it: You have a trinity of specific elements(Fire, Storm, and Ice) and then another trinity of somewhat less related elements(Myth, Life, and Death) each being their own little triangle and only interacting with others in the triangle, at least for things like damage boosts and multipliers.

You also have Balance as an element, but I feel that's self-explanitory.

Though thinking about my story I've got like four magic systems in there. I'll show it this once out in the open.

(Tagging Wademan94 Lamperouge M MooMew64 and the rest who would follow my story if you wants a rare out in the open):

Spoiler: Magic System

1. What my deuteragonist uses being a Tree Spirit where she can phase from place to place (think Ruby Rose from RWBY on that), throw harden petal stones, materialise her weapons and armour and can even take over people like possession style etc. Wade I should throw this idea on the server in more detail. A friend IRL gave it a cool suggestion.

2. What my tribal tattooed race is like for their magic which is practically identical to Avatar Bending plus ones for light and dark.

3. What Elves use in my story which I haven't fully thought of yet. It'd be more technical and something akin to the signs magic in The Witcher plus a few more things like self enhancing buffs and debuffs. To add to it electric magic, being able to fire blasts of energy and they can fly if skilled enough. Also thinking of seeing about if they can store elven magic into a battery of sorts to power the main character's vehicle.

4. The type of magic only one person can do which would be something like Time and Space element magic. Stuff like teleportation, sleep magic, manipulating gravity, gifting people powers like extending their lifespan and materialising weapons etc.

Not the highest priority at the moment since this is more of a world where magic isn't as used anymore but still fun to think about.

And SnakeFighter64 you're talk about it reminded me so that's a bit of stuff in there.

How could they have ****** it up so bad to the point that Scorpion's Revenge was better and more faithful to the source material? That's really sad, a straight-to-DVD movie is better than a theatrical reboot film.
