Toy Story is the only movie to get 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but Toy Story 2 was objectively a deeper and better experience.

Geez, I really need to stay more updated there, haha. I’ll check it out!
I’ll post my synopsis of her while I’m at it.
A 29 year old magic user who can freely move around her magic essence within her physical form and use it to enhance any area of her body. She was once a dedicated brawler in magic military forces and was partnered with fire spirit Flynt using a pair of flame gauntlets. She ended up pushing both of them to their limits fending off a powerful enemy attack and destroyed both her arms in the process. Flynt left her now that their bond had broken and fell into a depressive state before meeting Lena. Lena helped her unblock her essence and wound up giving her arms made of magic that fully use her essence, which can form itself from any substance it touches and can interact with certain magic elements. With her powers and confidence restored, she joins Lena’s team and assists everyone with combat and interacting with magic untouchable by physical form.

Fun fact, Toy Story 3 almost had a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but some reviewer decided to give a negative review just to prevent this from happening.

The first two films both got 100% ratings there.

I remember some guy giving Breath of the Wild a 7/10 review and getting death threats for bringing its average score down from 98 to 97.

I like how you decided not to mention the name of the reviewer who gave it a negative review deliberately just to lower the score.

Classy.

That said, while it is not truly bad to listen to them, I have a feeling reviewers are out of touch these days. Look at Godzilla vs Kong, for instance; that got somewhere around a 76 percent in Rotten Tomatoes, when it deserved better.
I think its fine where it is.

As a dedicated and hardcore kaiju fan I actually did have plenty of problems with the film but all the giant monster action is what made up for everything.

If you're curious of my problems.

-Movie feeling like it was two plots put into one that easily could have been separate films. Also feeling like it was more of a Kong film with Godzilla as a guest character.
-Not getting anything out of the characters especially Godzilla's side of the story notably the conspiracy guy and Madison's friend, Madison I also found to be more unlikeable at least in the beginning. The best characters IMO and got out of were Jia, her adoptive mother, and Nathan Lind.
-Wasn't a fan of the whole Bleach jokes and how Mechagodzilla is defeated by having whiskey poured onto the control panel.
-Movie barely focuses on what the movie's title is about. Focuses more on the hollow earth and of why Godzilla is going "rogue".
-Kong should have had more encounters with deadly creatures as he did with the Warbats and fought with them, also a longer fight with the Warbats.
-Ren Serizawa's character just being wasted never exploring his backstory and the relationship he had with his father.

Otherwise despite the weak plot as mentioned the monster action is the highlight and strength of this film. So yeah ignore the human parts (Aside from the parts with Jia, her adoptive mother, and Nathan Lind) and this is one of those movies where it's just a shut-off-your-brain-and-enjoy-the-ride kind of fun. A timewaster at best for general audience but otherwise like KotM a more more for the hardcore kaiju fans like myself if they want loads of monster fun.

Yeah, I know, but I do think reviewers are out of touch nowadays, Not about Godzilla vs Kong, but a lot of other things. I do think, for one, their reviewing too many movies affects their ability to give future movies good reviews in a negative way when they might actually be good and not bad. In other words, their reviewing ability gets "stale" over time, if you know what I mean.

I actually don't know the name of the reviewer who gave the negative score.

That said, there are 5 "rotten" reviews on the site for this particular movie so it is most likely one of the earliest two (from June 18 2010 I believe)

Top Gun: Maverick definitely has the potential in being one of the few good belated sequels to films in the 80s/90s. It's being directed by the person who did Only the Brave, an emotionally and beautifully tragic film about real-life heroes who died sacrificing their lives to protect people.

The thing with Rotten Tomatoes is that it's score system is... sorta misleading. Just cuz a movie gets a 100% doesn't mean it got perfect scores across the board, and 0% doesn't automatically mean it's one of the worst movies ever made.

When compiling reviews, any review that's considered on the positive side of things, which could range anywhere from a 6/10 to a 10/10, is considered "fresh", while anything from 5/10 and lower would be considered "rotten". It then compiles all the "fresh" and "rottens" to averagate the amount of "fresh" reviews it got.

Tl;dr, Rotten Tomatoes simply averagates how many critics gave it a positive review, not the actual review scores itself. That's something up more Metacritic's alley, even then that system's pretty flawed itself.

It's so weird how Rotten Tomatoes is now basically the defacto "objective" movie reviewer. It's even used on advertisements these days on films prerelease. It feels like the website's intentions have been warped by the industry to conform to what it was created to fight against.

xD I just want to know what you think about this...I am honestly laughing, because what else could I do? I thought when it came to "little kid" stuff regarding AC I thought their limit would be with the bibs...

But now this...I mean...I really, REALLY don't think it is a good idea...it's gonna be confusing for kids, I believe...specially that young. I just cannot utter more words to try and describe this.

I think I found an easy way to defeat the wither. I'm in creative mode in the end and the wither is trapped and getting his ass beat by endermen

Oh nevermind. He's stuck because mob griefing is off in this creative world. LOL

Edit: But end stone seems to have a high blast resistance

Honestly forgot the movie was coming out tbh. I'm not expecting a cinematic masterpiece. Or really anything beyond decent.
Oh neither am I tbh despite being a Mortal Kombat fan. At most I think its gonna be just a fun film and nothing more.

See how it also compares to the 1995 film and Scorpion's Revenge.

It was weird to do an animated MK film, especially called Legends, but following up with another live action reboot. Are we getting more in the future? Is Sub-Zero going to get one?

Scorpion's Revenge was IMO such a kick-*** film, loads of action and fighting and like the 1995 film had the spirit that makes the games what they are with its goofy tone.

The ending does hint at a sequel though and nothing has been said yet but there are indications it could happen as mentioned here.

Jeremy Adams expressed interest in doing a sequel and teased his vision about it:

“Bigger,” Adams teases. “That’s all I can say about that. I absolutely do hope that happens. I don’t know anything else besides that. But yeah, my hope is that this gets a theatrical release at some point. I hope someday maybe they do like a Fathom event or something, just to get fans to go to the theater because I think it’d be a really fun audience participation thing.”

Based on the first animated film, this one will be based on Mortal Kombat II.

Given Sub-Zero's death in Scorpion's Revenge. I would suspect him returning as Noob Saibot in the potential sequel with the second Sub-Zero appear so the one we saw in the previous film was Bi-Han.

That's what I would be expecting as well. It's not like the previous guy was morally apt for the role anyway. :4pacman:

Anyone else prefer playing Player 2 characters (Luigi, Tails, Coco, etc) over Player 1 characters?

Just wanna see how many
I like Luigi more than Mario, but sometimes I can’t stand the slippery shoes, so I tend to stick with playing Mario.

I prefer Sonic over Tails, and Crash over Coco.

So I guess I’m a player 1 guy. Though I figure I’m the outlier.
